The Gondwana Game Reserve offers an unforgettable experience in the heart of South Africa’s wilderness, combining luxury, adventure, and a warm, welcoming atmosphere. From the moment we arrived, we were immersed in breathtaking landscapes, incredible wildlife sightings, and exceptional hospitality. However, the true highlight of our stay was our safari guide, Stan. His expertise, enthusiasm, and passion for the natural world elevated our game drives from exciting to extraordinary. Stan not only had an impressive knowledge of the animals and ecosystem, but he also had an incredible ability to spot wildlife that seemed almost invisible to the untrained eye. Stan’s storytelling skills added an extra layer of magic to each drive, as he shared insights into animal behavior and the reserve’s conservation efforts. He had an infectious love for his work, which truly enhanced our entire experience. In short, Gondwana Game Reserve is a haven for those seeking a luxurious yet authentic safari adventure. With delicious food, a serene atmosphere, and guides like Stan who bring the reserve to life, it’s an experience that stays with you long after you leave. We can’t recommend it highly enough.

The location of the hotel is very good, next to the sea, there is a beach Free security at the entrance of the parking lot. There are supermarkets around. Pay attention to the business hours. When we arrived, it was Sunday and most shops were closed. The room is clean, but the washbasin is separated from the hot and cold water. I had a wonderful night at the hotel. The room was great and so was the food and service. I enjoyed hanging out at the beach and watching the whales from the balcony in the morning
