Thanks to ***ager Geet I was in serious trouble at another different hostel and could not breathe and was having chest pain but when I called Geet he made a place for me right away! They feel like family here and very nice and clean place to live! Super cold AC and i am very impressed!

Service to humanity.YMCA is known for selfless service.This hostel is not a hotel. It's no frill accomodation at the heart of New Delhi.Best suited for Visas.VFS at Shivaji Stadium is just walk by.Cross Gurudwara,seek blessings and proceed for Visa OFC US Embassy is also nearby.Ola/Uber takes max 10 minutes. It's a very safe place especially at Delhi when you are holding passports and sensitive documents.After check out the front desk will put your luggage/Mobile phones etc in their cloak room at only INR 50/- per item. Tarriff is 4750/- for a couple's stay including morning breakfast at ground floor dining hall. You get normal healthy breakfast. In house dining facility at chargeable basis is available. Pl visit like a hostel not as a hotel.

The *** at the check in counter on reception was unaware of my booking and was rude at check in and made me pay upfront. The photos posted online depict a very clean and modern place but upon entry you notice it is very run down and poorly ***aged. The next day I decided to check out and leave and they started de***ding payment again and when I explained that I already paid they wanted to know too ***y details regarding the same. If you want a peaceful and stress free stay in Delhi I would suggest you stay away from this place and chose a better hostel.

The rooms and hotel are good, there’s WiFi and hot water but it’s a little bit hard to find the hotel and there’s no big sings of it. It’s near metro station and railway station

The hostel is very well-maintained and the cleaning staff is carefully taking care to keep everything clean. It is located in a small village in the middle of Delhi, which was very authentic but I also had to get used to it a little bit as it was my first time in India. But in general the location is a great place to explore the city from. The staff was very helpful even though I checked in at 5am and helped me to book trains and plan my itinerary (cheers Ujjwal 😉)

Very close to New Delhi station. There were many food stalls and shops nearby, which was very convenient. The room was very clean and had all the necessary amenities, so I was able to spend a comfortable time. Also, the owner had a great sense of humor and made us happy. The owner can speak Japanese fluently. This is a highly recommended hotel in Delhi.

I stayed here with my partner for three nights and it was the perfect place for our first few nights in India. The hostel feels very safe, the WiFi is excellent and there are the most adorable pugs!! The rooms are away from the streets so all of the noise from the Main Street is blocked out but you still have access to all the restaurants/ shops etc. Definitely get the airport transfer!!! We declined and ended up trapped in a travel agents for two hours while people tried to sell us tours. The taxi driver was all part of the scam and tried to scare us into leaving Delhi saying it was polluted and dangerous. He also told us he couldn’t drive in Paharganj due to Diwali traffic and someone from the hotel was coming to meet us. He even fake called ‘someone from the hotel’, so we trusted him. Obviously no one came to get us. We were taken to a place called the Tourist I centre near Connaught place- it had a blue front. Do not trust this place. A rep told us he was going to Kashmir the next day and that we should go with him. However, we saw the same *** outside the next day trying to scam someone else. When we realised there was no one coming to collect us we got in another taxi. On arrival at the hostel we saw the messages from the hostel ***ager who expressed lots of concern for our whereabouts and safety, which we really appreciated. This hotel is great as it helps people to report these scams! In a nutshell Kuldeeps is amazing and definitely get the transfer.

Location is excellent as you are close to the metro. Please make use of it as it will save you a lot of money and is a safer form of transport. If you are going to the Airport from here it will only cost you 100 rupee. You have to get a Tuk Tuk a short distance to Shivaji Metro and fro there a direct Metro to the Airport. Don’t bother with a taxi but if you feel easier travelling this way it should cost you no more than 400. My room was clean and spacious. Hot water only seemed to be at 10am for a short time. One of the staff name began with W was so helpful and friendly. The other I just felt very unwelcome and he was very cold in his approach towards me. Hot and cold water dispenser for making drinks and filling your water bottle. There is a great roof top where you can dry your cloths and sit with others guests. Good market behind the Hostel and if your getting a bit fed up of spicy food I found a great place called The Brown Bread company. Sold great Italian food and a hearty breakfast. The down side for me was the loud music coming from a nearby club/bar. It went on until almost 1am. If you are a late to bed kind of person it won’t bother you. I had ear plugs and was shattered most nights so did sleep but one night it was so loud I just had to sit it out. They do have a cook on site. I only used him for some toast so can’t comment on his cooking. Akshardham Hindu temple is just a few Metro stops from the Hostel. It really is worth a visit. Security is tight so no mobile phones or bags. Very well organised. There is a water show which I found really spectacular. I wished I had gone a bit earlier as it’s a beautiful place.
