Always my go to stay option due to proximity to mall road as well as hidimba and old manali. Easily accessible safe for solo travellers and good quality food at reasonable prices.

The manager of the hotel is very polite. We check out room by 11 am. We are 2 families and our bus was at 6pm eve. We keep your luggage and use aminity like bathroom water etc. We glad that manager was so polite and allow us there at reception with kids and allow us washroom and lukewarm water for kids.

Stayed here from 21st Dec to 25th Dec 2022 (4 nights). If you are visiting a hotel in Manali, especially in December, you would expect a room heater service. Well, they don't have a room heater. Instead, they have a paid heater not even enough to heat up your bed. Service is horrendous. Only giving 2 ratings because of the restaurant which is pretty good and the person in charge of the restaurant, his courteousness is impressive. Some points - 1. My travel agent was very helpful and tried to bargain for the room heater service which is 400 INR per night as I stayed for 4 nights, but they did not agree. And this has to be paid in cash only and they don't provide any receipt also for it. 2. Electricity was gone a few times. After complaining, they started the generator. 3. Nobody is going to help you with your bags on the day when you checkout :). They do it only while check-in :). Good points - 1. Location. Max 5 mins walking distance from mall road. They have parking also, which is a plus point, especially in Manali. 2. Food is very good if you are ok with veg. We have enjoyed the food. But if you are staying > 2 days, breakfast options might start boring you. In a nutshell - Maybe a good budget hotel in summer, but please think for multiple times in winter.

This was our first time in Manali. We were a bit apprehensive since this was a 3 star hotel. But I should admit that the hotel exceeded my expectations. In terms of location, it is located near the Hidimba temple but yet quite secluded from the rush. Do not expect it to be hotel with great facilities as it is a relatively old hotel, but they have all their basics in place. They still use the lock and key system instead of the card system, but we were ok. The rooms are clean and the staff is courteous, The best part is the food in their restaurant. It is very nice food but at the same time not very typical heavy food that one finds in North Indian restaurants/ cuisines. The only thing to avoid are the rooms near the car park. We were there for 3 nights were booked in 2 rooms near the car park. It was not an issue for us as we used to come back to the hotel only to have our dinner and would leave the hotel in the morning for sightseeing after having our breakfast. The restaurant only opens at around 8 am in the morning and hence if you want to leave early, the restaurant is able to pack a nice breakfast for you. It met all our expectations and we had a pleasant stay at Manali Heights. I would definitely recommend this hotel to those traveling with family and young kids.
