Ushuaia Hostels

We stayed at Hosteria Ailen last March 2019 for 3 nights , we like very much , what most attracted us was the cleaning of the room and the attention given by the owner Mr Antônio . The hotel was very comfortable and the hotel was very comfortable and the hotel was very comfortable and very comfortable. Mr. Antônio helped us with the tours , restaurant tips , brought us to the center on the first day , very requested .

Really happy with my choice. bedrooms very basic but clean and everything works. but the house is lovely with lots of guest areas to sit and enjoy. sunny balcony. really confortable place and Anna and family are great hosts. she had lots of useful local suggestions. i was meeting friends who were staying in hotels and they paid double the price and had various complaints. i would definitely stay here again. Breakfast is minimal but adequate. a 10 minute walk to the waterfront and a bit longer to get back as it’s uphill.

The location is a few hundred meters from the city center. The city is really beautiful. Every time you walk around, you can enjoy it. The police station is also very close, and our three girls feel that they are also full of security. . . Originally set a double room, met another girl in the middle, went directly to the hotel to upgrade to a triple room, only added a little difference in three nights, more than cost-effective. . . The reception is also very nice! Breakfast is also available. There is a small yard with a cat, so cute. When it's snowing, if there is no snow, bring a pot of tea or coffee, you can stay there for a whole day, like Ushuaia, I hope there will be a chance to go again. . .

This place was relatively small, but cosy, very well kept, clean, comfortable with great and friendly staff. The breakfast was nicely varied with good coffee and fresh bread, beds were comfortable, shower was good although it was over a bath/spa. The only minor point is the distance out of town centre (previously mentioned) , walking took about 20 minutes, downhill and quiet difficult to get lost. Coming back was a different issue and after getting lost in the rain, we generally took a taxi back, about AUD$4 and worth it for us. We had a couple of problems with our travel arrangements and the staff/owner could not have been more helpful with sorting this out. If you don’t mind a bit of a walk which is interesting and has many route variations, we can’t recommend this place highly enough.

Advantages: The decoration is very warm, the environment is very clean, the room heating is very good, the hot water in the shower is hot enough, the towel body feels good, and the boss can also help to call a taxi when traveling. Insufficient: WIFI is poor, the bed in the twin room is very narrow, the second floor room is poorly soundproofed, and you can hear the movement of the next room.

The location is far from the main lively streets, and on the mountain, going down the mountain is easy, and going up the mountain is hard. But the room is small and beautiful, but it is a pity that the toilet flushing is prone to non-stop water flow. It is often inconvenient to ask housekeepers to deal with it. Besides, I didn’t tell us where to take the drinking water, which is very inconvenient.

Cumbres Del Martial is a cosy mountain lodge hidden in the Bosque Fueguino Forest, 7 km from Ushuaia. It offers spectacular views of Beagle Channel. Rooms at Del Martial feature traditional stonework interiors and antique country furniture. All have free Wi-Fi and a balcony with views of Esperanza Stream. Some have a fireplace and hydromassage tub. Guests can enjoy fresh cheese cake in the tea house, while the restaurant serves Patagonian lamb and fine South American wines. A breakfast buffet with fresh croissants and glazed cakes is served daily. Cumbres Del Martial is 5 km from Malvinas Argentinas airport. It offers free parking and a car rental service.
