BTS is finally coming back to Malaysia for the BTS WORLD TOUR ‘ARIRANG’ 2026, and Filipino ARMYs can start planning their Kuala Lumpur trip early. The one downside was a strong cigarette smoke smell that hit us as soon as we opened the door. Unfortunately, it wasn't a one-time thing — throughout our 3-day, 2-night stay, we were greeted by the same smell every time we came back and opened the unit door. I booked a Superior Queen Room for one night. At first I didn’t mind too much that the room and bathroom looked a bit old because the bed was comfortable and the place seemed clean. However I noticed the window knob was broken so I couldn’t close the window properly; the handheld bidet sprayer was also broken as even though it still worked; the bedside light on the right side didn’t work either; and there were a lot of ants.
I also arrived around noon and although their card said early check-in was available they didn’t let me check in early so I had to wait for two hours. On the positive side, they did let me stay in the lobby while waiting and it smelled nice.
Overall, I was disappointed especially because I wasn’t expecting this kind of experience.From€13

The host is friendly as i need to extend my stay she allowed me to do that and she just deduct the amount from my deposit no extra pay needed which i am glad the most. The staff called someone to confirm, and after some back-and-forth, they finally let us go. I suspect the housekeeping staff saw our clothes hanging to dry and tried to charge us for laundry. Oh my goodness! We went straight to the hotel after landing in Kuala Lumpur. We arrived four hours before the 3 PM check-in time, but the hotel welcomed us in the lobby right away. The bellboy was so cute and strong, which really made us feel warm and welcomed upon our arrival. When we got to the 53rd floor, the front desk found two Chinese-speaking staff members to assist us, and they were even a supervisor and a subordinate! It was truly touching. They helped us store our luggage, showed us to the restrooms, and let us choose an aromatherapy scent while offering iced tea and snacks. The whole process was polite, thoughtful, and gentle.
When we checked into our room in the afternoon, we couldn't have been happier. It had a bathtub, double sinks, a smart toilet, a king-sized bed, a large sofa, and a spacious shower. In the afternoon, someone even came to turn down the bed and light an aromatherapy diffuser. The breakfast was incredibly exquisite – a combination of buffet and à la carte! Absolutely delicious! The hotel's location is superb, connected to Pavilion via a skybridge, so we didn't have to worry about sun or rain when going in and out. It truly maximized our sense of happiness and relaxation during the trip! Most importantly, we had an unobstructed view of the Petronas Twin Towers and all of Kuala Lumpur. A special thank you to the gentleman at the reception who was extremely helpful and attentive. He even reminded me to bring my TNG card to the counter before going out, so I could avoid unnecessary charges. Such a small gesture, but it showed how thoughtful and helpful the staff were.
I also chose a room with the KLCC view, and it was absolutely superb! Waking up in the morning and seeing the beautiful KLCC view right from our room was simply amazing. ✨

- Broken mirror at kitchen serves as a safety hazard, with a loose piece of broken glass sticking out
- induction cooker cracked and was tapped up using a masking tape
- shower door seal at common bathroom broken and hanging loose, can result in cuts if not careful

- common toilet was “gargling” in the middle of the night on the first night.

After completing the booking, guests are required to contact the host via WhatsApp. The communication was excellent—the team was very responsive, helpful, and available 24/7, which made the entire process smooth.

The staff were friendly and helpful throughout my stay. However, punctuality could be improved. One area that needs attention is the check-in experience with the security guard. The instructions from the host regarding where to park while waiting for check-in were not clear. I contacted the hotel to cancel, but since it was already past midnight, cancellation wasn't possible. I reluctantly went to check in, but – and this is a big but – I was very satisfied with the cleanliness and service of this Signatures property. I booked a deluxe twin room, and it was very clean. The front desk is on the 16th floor, and our room was on the 18th floor! It was also very quiet at night!

Overall, I'd give this stay about a 70% rating. The hotel stated it was renovated in 2025, but the room condition was quite ordinary, though still acceptable for a stay. Its convenient location is definitely its biggest advantage. What was really bothersome was the lack of air conditioning in the lobby. In Malaysia's scorching heat, waiting for a car or checking in was incredibly stuffy, even the staff looked like they were struggling.
After checking in, we found that the hot water in our room wasn't consistent; it would turn cold after filling about half a bathtub. We reported it to the front desk, and a technician came twice, but the issue remained unresolved. Since the hotel was fully booked that day, the front desk eventually upgraded us to a quad room. To our surprise, the new room didn't even have hot water. In the end, we had to move back to our original room. Moving back and forth with two young children and not being able to take a proper shower was exhausting and really dampened our travel mood. We raised our concerns to the hotel at the time, hoping for a discount on the room rate, but they only offered complimentary breakfast. Given that two consecutive rooms had hot water problems and we had to move rooms twice, this compensation felt inadequate and didn't truly address the inconvenience we experienced. However, the front desk staff were cooperative and actively tried to help with the situation. I absolutely loved my stay at Hyatt Centric Kuala Lumpur. The location was honestly one of the best choices we could have made. It’s within walking distance of Pavilion Mall, which made getting around so convenient, and the hotel itself has such a beautiful atmosphere.
One of my favorite things was the rooftop swimming pool. The pool area is really cute, and you can see the Twin Towers from the rooftop, which makes the whole experience even better.
The staff were also amazing — so friendly, helpful, and polite throughout our stay. I really appreciated the attention to detail in the amenities and the little thoughtful touches throughout the hotel. For example, the gym had regular towels as well as refrigerated towels for when you’re overheated after a workout. They even had fresh apples available at the gym, which I thought was such a nice touch.

The water pressure in the room was excellent, and there were plenty of conveniently located power outlets. With multiple elevators, we barely had to wait. Downstairs, there's a ZUS Coffee, a popular Malaysian coffee chain, and the location is great. Taxis respond quickly, and it was just the right distance to walk back from Sky51 at night. It's a shame we only stayed one night. Special shout-out to the front desk lady working on the morning of August 25th – she was incredibly friendly and kind, making our service experience truly exceptional!From€45

Extremely central and convenient location. Macs is across and within walking distance to twin towers. Wish there were hangers or drying rack as we couldn’t hang out clothes at all after washing. It’s not practical to bring our own drying rack. Wish there was tissue paper too as it’s quite surprising there wasn’t any. Didn’t understand the lift system initially as there were no buttons to press. Kept thinking I was in wrong lift. When we were there, there are groups of men hanging around which makes female travellers feel a bit uneasy. Other than these, everything else was perfect.From€60

The stunning view from the balcony is absolutely amazing, right onto the Twin Towers. The room consists of two parts: a bedroom and a living room with a kitchen. It has everything you could need: bathrobes, dishes, a garment steamer, a hairdryer, and a large balcony. Everything is top-notch.
The café serves delicious ham and cheese croissants.
However!!! First, I booked this hotel specifically for the view and the rooftop pool. Nowhere on their websites did it state that the pool would be closed for maintenance during our stay. This is a big 'minus' for me. I believe this should be clearly communicated, as these are scheduled works.
Second, initially, we were given a room with a view away from the towers, and the room and hallway also had a terrible smell of tobacco, or something similar and very unpleasant. I went downstairs, mentioned it, and requested a room with a view of the towers. They changed it for us without any issues.
The staff are very friendly. They even lent us an adapter because our charger plugs didn't fit the outlets.From€40
