為慶祝創館十周年，一新美術館隆重呈獻年度重點展覽「一新亮點」首展——《溢彩穹蒼：小月樓、頌德堂彩色玉石雕刻收藏》。展覽由即日起至2025年7月6日，展出本地藏家小月樓及頌德堂慷慨借出的120件宋代至二十世紀早中期的珍稀彩色玉石雕刻。
《溢彩穹蒼》展出宋、元、明、清及二十世紀早中期不同年代的彩色玉石雕刻，材質珍罕，包括白玉、瑪瑙、琥珀、蜜蠟、紫晶、茶晶、金星玻璃、珊瑚、髮晶、翡翠、青金石、孔雀石、水晶、桃花石、粉石、碧玉和綠松石等，既有把玩於掌中的玉石小件，亦有小型擺設。此外，部份展品更搭配原配木製底座，展現工藝之精湛。
中國彩石雕刻藝術可溯源至遠古時代，漢唐時期開始萌芽，在清代發揚光大。展覽中最古老的玉石雕刻為北宋纏絲瑪瑙花形杯，杯口呈五瓣，全器橙紅色，局部有暗紅色圓紋。它顏色濃艷，石紋多變，與清代的淡素顏色及簡單石紋有明顯分別。同場另一展品綠松石持笙童子可追溯至金朝，有着中亞遊牧民族孩童獨特造型—「木梳背兒」，呈現文化交流的印記。
乾隆對玉石雕刻藝術興趣濃厚，廣攬民間工匠為其製作玉雕。展覽展出了不少乾隆年代的玉石傑作，例如乾隆御製芙蓉桂花詩文白玉杯，其表面以碾磨地子技法打磨，器腹四面開窗配浮雕雲紋錦地，窗內細雕芙蓉、桂花各一，枝葉茂盛雙連，另淺刻對應的乾隆御題詩句，集詩、書、畫於一身，彰顯乾隆時期的藝術品味。中國古代工藝精品往往通過視覺造型表達吉祥寓意，例如瑪瑙早生貴子墜，工匠把瑪瑙雕成棗子和花生，帶出「早 （棗）生貴子（花生是種子）之意，體現中國傳統工藝的巧思。
為呼應展覽，一新美術館推出「一新鮮活」計劃，邀請本地資深藝術家黃約翰先生，就館内的展覽，用煥然一新的鮮活創意，創作數幅新作，以繪畫回應古代玉石的璀璨歷史。
此外，一新美術館將舉辦「一新美術室」、「一新教室」及「一新遊樂室」等活動，透過繪畫示範、講座及工作坊，促進社區人士與藝術家的交流互動。

Although the current people in Hong Kong are not as big as expected, the project is not as much as expected. Remember you can bring food, snacks, and drinks in this park for personal consumption, so you do not need to purchase food at the park. Also, remember to pay attention to the show and time schedules in the main entrance. We almost missed the younger pandas viewing. Unfortunately, there were at least 2 rides under maintainence (the polar express and another roller coaster that had a light purple colour). Almost all the rides have height restrictions. For kids around the age of 5 that has a height less than 122cm, then they can only ride on the polar express roller coaster and the rides in the kids area. In the kids area, there are only a small merry-go-around, a train ride, a playground, a rock climbing slope, and a maze. In the adults area, kids under 122cm can go on the adult ferris wheel, viewing tower, adult merry-go-around. Also, this amusement park closes around 7pm, so schedule your time wisely. Cable car is definitely worth riding on. The sceneries were amazing. It has a limit of 6 people per cable car. It takes approximately 8-12 minutes per ride. The other under the sea train ride only takes 5 minutes or so, and arrives at a similar destination. The under the sea train has no scenery other than the digital and light effects inside the train. We ate at the rainforest snack shack. It was HKD $88 per snack. We picked fries and chicken wings. If you buy in multiples of 2, then the price is around HKD $156 or so. I tried the clown roller coaster, and it was rather short. Honestly, all the rides durations are shorter compared to other theme parks that I visited. This is more suitable for families that love animals, instead of young people that want the excitement from rides.

No one comes to Hong Kong without visiting Victoria Peak, but the few times I went there before I took the cable car up and down. This time I followed a few friends to do a night hike from Central. Hike the mountains and walk on the moon in search of immortals, swim in the sea and chase the waves and play with dragons. The approximate route is Central Garden Road and Mid-Levels Escalator - Old Peak Road - Victoria Peak - down to Central. I have to say that Hong Kong is really suitable for hiking. This route is not difficult and it takes about 40 minutes to reach the top of the mountain. The happiness of climbing up by yourself and looking at the night view is something you can never experience by taking the cable car. Then I saw a wild boar 🐗 crossing the road.

amazing view going up the peak on the tram! it can be a bit packed depending on the time you head there and the seats require some strategic planning if you intend to catch good view of the scenery. there are a handful of eateries and shops to browse as well as opportunities to capture the skyline of the city.

It is worth visiting. The curatorial level is very high and the exhibits are very exquisite. I personally like Halls 2, 5 and the special exhibition (I missed Hall 1, I will make up for it next time). The exhibition copywriting is really well written, easy to understand and literary, and the excavation of historical details is also very in-depth. You can feel the dedication and professionalism of the curatorial team. For example, the music of the shaman&#39;s blessing to the gods in the Forbidden City is very shocking, and the atmosphere is full, giving you an immersive feeling. I have been to the National Palace Museum in Beijing and Taipei, and the experience in Hong Kong is relatively better. There are fewer people, so you can calm down and visit without squeezing like a war. The scenery is also beautiful, and the viewing platform faces the sea, which gives you a long-lost sense of relaxation.
