For our inaugural Coffee Ride, we will visit Way Down Yonder Beignets & Coffee. This place is amazing! After we enjoy a nice morning coffee/tea/snack we will visit the Columbus Public Library for a tour and to peruse some cycling related books. Need a library card? You can get one there! Afterwards, we will have some time to explore the Topiary Garden before we head back to our start location. Riders are responsible for paying for their own beverage/food purchases. This ride will be approximately 5 miles long and will proceed at a casual pace. NEW BIKE RIDERS WELCOME! The ride is free, but you need to register for planning and safety purposes. A Ride with GPS route link will be emailed to everyone registered prior to the ride. There will be ride ambassadors who will make sure you don't get lost or left behind. All types of bikes are welcome! Just make sure your bike is in good working order and be sure to wear a helmet! Riders should wear comfortable clothing, bring water, apply sunscreen and bring front and rear lights, if you have them. A basket, backpack or pannier is good for bringing home your library items.
