The Three Jolly Ghosts of Christmas is an enchanting and award-winning dance production presented by Eliot Smith Dance (ESD). Set in the beautiful city of Newcastle upon Tyne at the renowned Newcastle City Library, this magical retelling of the classic festive tale takes audiences on a captivating adventure. Through stunning choreography and festive storytelling, Eliot Smith Dance brings to life the iconic Christmas story, A Christmas Carol, written by Charles Dickens.

With a new instrumental piece of music by Adam Johnson and atmospheric costumes, this contemporary dance performance is sure to captivate and entertain families and children aged 7 and above. The dance opens with the perpetually miserable and grumpy Scrooge, but when the jolly ghosts of Christmas Past, Present, and Yet To Come sweep him away on a magical-dancing journey, his heart is opened, leading to a transformative change of character.

The performances of The Three Jolly Ghosts of Christmas are Pay What You Decide, offering a unique opportunity for audiences. This means that you only pay after you have seen the performance, allowing you to determine a price that suits your experience.
