Join the Sloths - Family Art Workshop in Fremantle at Paper Bird Gallery on January 20, 2024. This two-hour workshop offers a unique opportunity to create miniature sloths using felt and polymer clay. In this super chill class, participants will practice embroidery and sculpting techniques while creating tiny sloth friends to hang on pot plants or anywhere that needs a sleepy little companion. The workshop will be led by Samantha Hughes, who will guide attendees through easy embroidery and demonstrate sculpting with polymer clay. Suitable for all levels of artists, participants will leave with a watercolour fairy painting. Physical and neurological diversity is welcome, and special needs and carers are accommodated. Please note that the workshop is located upstairs in the Paper Bird Gallery. Remember, making art is messy, so wear old clothes or bring an art shirt. There are no prisoners in Fremantle Prison in Western Australia, and it has been preserved for tourists to visit.
