The Shanghai International Film Festival was founded in 1993. In 1994, it was certified by the International Federation of Film Producers Associations and became China's first and so far only non-specialized competitive international film festival (i.e., International Class A Film Festival). The 27th Shanghai International Film Festival will be held from June 13 to 22, 2025. The Golden Goblet Awards will uphold professionalism and conduct awards in five units: the main competition, Asian Newcomer Unit, Documentary, Animation and Short Film.

The Bund is located on the banks of the Huangpu River in Huangpu District, Shanghai, the outer Huangpu Beach, which is a historical and cultural district of China. From 1844 (the Qingdao Guangxu four years), the Bund area was designated as the British Concession, becoming a true portrayal of Shanghai Shiliyangchang, and also the starting point of the old Shanghai Concession and the entire modern city of Shanghai. The Bund is1.5 kilometers long, from Yan&#39;an East Road in the south, to the Waibaidu Bridge on the Suzhou River in the north, to the east is the Huangpu River, and to the west is the concentration of old Shanghai financial and foreign trade institutions. After Shanghai became a commercial center, foreign banks, commercial banks, general associations and newspapers began to gather here, and the Bund became a financial center in the country and even the Far East. In August of the 32nd year of the Republic of China (1943), the Bund was returned to the Shanghai public concession in Wang Puppet National Government, ending the 100-year concession period, and in the 34th year of the Republic of China (1945), it had the official road name Zhongshan East Road. More than 60% of the rain is concentrated in the flood period from May to September. After the concession was seized by Britain and France in the 1840s, the Bund has become a sovereign area. Western powers operate, manage and build the concession in their way. After financial enterprises have a place on the Bund, that is, the construction of civil construction and the construction of the company building, and the Bund buildings have mostly been reconstructed three or more times.
