The New Zealand National Poetry Slam returns to Tāmaki Makaurau. Poets from around the country will battle it out for the title of 2024 National Champion! This year, poets representing Wellington, Christchurch, Hawkes Bay, Tauranga, Hamilton, Nelson/Golden Bay, Dunedin, & Auckland will take the stage for one night of competition. Who will be crowned the 2024 Champion? Judges chosen from the audience will decide! There are limited tickets, and this event has sold out for the last two years, so grab yours now. More than just a slam, the NZNPS 2024 will feature a programme of events to compliment the main event. Check out these events, which include a panel and a writing workshop, all taking place across the 29th and 30th of November. Established in 2011, NZ Poetry Slam is an independent community run by a committee of poets from across Aotearoa. With generous support from Creative Communities Auckland and the Waitematā Local Board. All Ages. Uncensored but hate speech free.

The venue is slightly smaller, but the content is still very rich, and rainy days do not affect the fun at all. It is very suitable for playing with the nearby Mission Bay. The souvenirs inside are very cute and I bought several plush 😘

The whole experience was great, and it&#39;s a great place to learn about New Zealand&#39;s history and culture. The museum is quite large and worth a good half-day visit. There are many interactive exhibits, especially suitable for taking children out. There are also Chinese services, which is recommended.

Auckland Central Park is not like the common landscape parks in the city. It is more like a natural forest. The winding tree-lined paths and the tall trees on both sides make you feel like you are walking into the original green field, with thick fallen leaves and soft soil under your feet. The air is filled with the fragrance of plants, which is very suitable for jogging, walking the dog or just taking a quiet walk. There are also several sculptures and small bridges hidden along the way, which adds a little fun.
