Nathan Carter The Lord Be Praised Margaret Douroux The Morgan State University Choir is one of the nation’s most prestigious university choral ensembles. While classical, gospel, and contemporary popular music comprise the choir’s critically acclaimed repertoire, they are renowned for their emphasis on preserving spiritual heritage in their performances. The choir has performed with major symphony orchestras, including The Philadelphia Orchestra, Chicago Symphony, New York Philharmonic, and the National Symphony Orchestra. Dr. Eric Conway is the current Director of the Morgan State University Choir. Since 2004, he has led the choir through many notable performances, including a special performance at the service honoring Rosa Parks, the first woman to lie in honor at our nation’s Capital Rotunda. In 2015, at the request of First Lady Michelle Obama, the choir sang at the White House for a nationally televised concert in the East Room alongside Aretha Franklin, Shirley Caesar, and Tamela Mann. During the summer of 2018, the choir traveled to Slovakia, Germany, and Austria, where they sang in Vienna’s famed St. Mark's Cathedral. In the fall of the same year, the choir performed Leonard Bernstein’s Mass with the Peabody Symphony Orchestra under the baton of Maestra Marin Alsop. The choir has performed all over the world including in Greece, West Africa, Russia, South Africa, Canada, Colombia, China, Brazil, Argentina, Jamaica, Italy, Australia, Cuba, Spain, Portugal, Austria, Slovakia, Germany, England, Scotland, Wales, Peru, Ecuador, the Middle East, and the Galapagos Islands. Having shared their musical gifts on grand stages across the globe–with numerous dignitaries and celebrated performers– the Morgan State University Choir acts as a cultural ambassador for the City of Baltimore, the state of Maryland and the United States. The Hong Kong Women’s Choir is a registered charitable organization, founded by a group of dedicated women, both expatriates and from Hong Kong, with a common love of singing. Within this organization, there are two sister groups: NOVA, the core group of singers performing to accompaniment and The Grace Notes who sing a cappella (unaccompanied). Rehearsals are held weekly and fundraising concerts for local charities are run each year in May and December. As a registered charitable organization, the objectives of the choir are to perform (in our own concerts, at private functions and public venues) to raise funds for Hong Kong charitable concerns while bringing music to the Hong Kong public. Queen&#39;s Road is the first main coastal city center road built after the opening of Hong Kong. It is located on the north shore of Hong Kong Island. It extends from Shek Tong Tsui in Central and Western District to Happy Valley in Wan Chai District. It is about 5 kilometers long and is divided into three sections: Queen&#39;s Road West, Queen&#39;s Road Central and Queen&#39;s Road East.

Queen&#39;s Road was built in 1841 and opened to traffic in February 1842. Its English name is Queen&#39;s Road. It should have been translated as &quot;Queen&#39;s Road&quot;, but it was mistakenly translated as &quot;Queen&#39;s Road&quot;. As a result, it was mistakenly translated as &quot;Queen&#39;s Road&quot;. Although the authorities clarified the mistake in 1890, the wrong Chinese name of the road was finally used until now. During the Japanese colonial period in Hong Kong, Queen&#39;s Road was renamed &quot;Meiji-dori&quot;.

overall is gd, because of T3, all the outdoor games are close despite the weather is fine.. no rain or strong wind. The forw works was cancelled too. So if they knew that T3 or 8 is gonna hoise on that day, then why do they still charge Tier 3..which is more expensive.

It&rsquo;s a tourist thing to do when you visit hk n the scene is quite nice. Seeing the structures of the city 🌆 n we were blessed with a nice weather despite predicting it to rain :)

Booked this package and paying extra for the Ruby Pass was the best thing we did! The M+ Art gallery was incredible and general admission tickets meant we could wander from exhibition to exhibition and take our time. Picasso, of course, was the star of the show and I particularly enjoyed the &#39;Paint like Picasso&#39; activity. Unfortunately when we were there, some of the exhibits were being changed, so we weren&#39;t able to visit all of them. Taking the Peak Tram was lots of fun, but it was super crowded, so the Ruby Pass went a long way! Access to the sky deck was a little daunting, typhoon considered, but on a clear day I&#39;m sure the view is incredible. The Mei Lok experience was like entering a time capsule, and we thoroughly enjoyed drawing on the desks in the &#39;school room&#39; area! Absolutely would go again.

The open-top bus is very hot, so it is recommended to wear sun protection clothing. The scenery of the Green Line is very good, and it can take you to see a different Hong Kong. Reservoirs, beaches, hiking trails, public housing, resort hotels, etc., these are not seen in Victoria Harbor.
It takes basically a day to take all three lines.
