Join the Claresholm Arts Society on a trip to 1910 England for their 12th production! Jack-of-all trades Bert, introduces us to the troubled Banks family. Spoiled children, Jane and Michael, are faced with the prospect of a new nanny. When a mysterious young woman appears, the family finds that she’s the answer to their prayers, but in the most peculiar way. Mary Poppins takes the children on many magical and memorable adventures, but they aren’t the only ones she has a profound effect upon. Even grown-ups can learn a lesson or two from the nanny who advises that “anything can happen if you let it.” Using a combination of magic and common sense, she must teach the family members how to value each other again. Mary Poppins is an enchanting mixture of an irresistible story and unforgettable songs.
