With an estimated 7-10% of Southern California residents under 65 identifying as having a disability, our adaptive sports and recreation programs have made a meaningful impact—empowering athletes, supporting families, and inspiring volunteers and donors alike. Our reach spans Long Beach and surrounding regions, fostering inclusive spaces where everyone has the opportunity to play, grow, and thrive. PLAYMAKERS of Long Beach and SoCal Adaptive Sports are proud to be partnering with the Long Beach City College and the Long Beach City College Foundation to host our second local adaptive sports and recreation fair on Saturday, May17, 2025 from 10am-2pm at Long Beach City College. Most of the aquarium is filled with local marine life, including fish, jellyfish, lobsters, electric eels, dolphins and sea lions. There are a few cute penguins, and you can touch small manta rays. The aquarium is not big, and there is also a parrot pavilion where you can touch and feed them up close, which meets the needs of many children to get close to marine animals. Don&#39;t expect too much, it&#39;s more suitable for young children.

We were taking a carnival cruise port in LA. The Queen Mary was right next door. They JUST opened two months prior since COVID and were accepting guests. We had drinks at the bar, breakfast at the chowder hall and coffee on deck. the rooms were a bit dark without windows but the real deal and unique experience. Would def book there again!

Similar to Venice canals but looks nicer as you walk through the winter when some of the houses has Christmas lights up so you can see all the nice decorations as you scroll through the sidewalks on each side of the river to get that xmas spirit.
