About the event: IN PERSON REGISTRATION
Let’s COCO: Celebrating the Doers is an uplifting event from the Equality, Diversity and Inclusive Research Association (EDIRA).
This hybrid event brings together people from research, health, education, and community sectors to recognise and celebrate those making a real difference in equality, diversity, and inclusion—especially for rare disease and marginalised communities.
Our EDIRA PARTNERS have worked with remarkable and innovative teams who have addressed issues of health equity and inclusion. hey have made a significant impact on the quality of life for diverse and underserved communities accessing health services, and for rare disease patients and families. We want to celebrate and learn from their innovative work.
This event is a must if yu want to hear case studies from our EDIRA Partners, collaborators, and sponsors. These presentations will showcase real-world examples of:
Equality, Diversity, and Inclusion (EDI):
 Tackling barriers, building trust, and promoting public participation and engagement for all communities.
Rare Disease Advocacy:
 Elevating the voices and lived experiences of rare disease patients, and advancing narrative-based, trauma-informed approaches.
Health Education:
 Raising awareness of cultural competence and rare disease issues, and supporting inclusive, accessible education for healthcare professionals and the public.
Inclusive Research:
 Promoting health literacy, patient-centricity, and diversity in research and clinical trials through innovative, participatory methods.
Service Innovation and Improvement:
 Advancing practical solutions, digital health, and co-designed services to improve quality of life and care for all.
You’ll also join lively panel discussions, network with others passionate about positive change, and celebrate unsung heroes making impactful contributions across these five areas.
Everyone is welcome—whether you’re a professional, advocate, or community member interested in advancing inclusion and health equit
If you are working in clinical researche, pharmaceutical industry, healthcare or patient advocacy. and want to understance how the 'Doers' achieve their outcomes, this event is for you.
The Book of Doers
One key output from our event will be the co-production of a collection of case studies from EDIRA Partners, Collaborators and Sponsors.

Children love it, it&#39;s a must for families with kids! I saw British schools also organize students to play there. Overall, it&#39;s more worthwhile than the Whisky Museum and the Peter Rabbit Museum. The first two are actually worth going to the shopping malls to buy something, and the doors of the shopping malls are open to passers-by.

We made a dedicated trip and had a lovely few hours. There was lots to see with split levels that kept your interest. The penguins were nice, the octopus made an appearance and we would have loved to see more of the otters., we see the otters.. There is plenty to see, read and touch. My grand daughter loved it all, the turtle in the tunnel is beautiful . It was clean, and we had a great time, would definitely go back, staff were helpful,its really nice and deserve to be visited again and again.

For a smaller town the Art Museum as great. We really enjoyed our visit and would recommend it if you are traveling to Birmingham. Make sure to call ahead to see if they are open.

There are Chinese Super League, restaurants, and many other specialty restaurants to choose from.
It&#39;s not hard to find something to eat here.
However, the food at this restaurant was a bit disappointing.
