Join the Grand Valley Arts Advocacy Award Celebration in honor of Gary Hauschulz for his lifetime achievements in Mentoring, Imagining, and Inspiring Community through the Arts. The event will take place at The Art Center in Grand Junction on May 18, 2024. Doors open at 1:00, with presentations beginning at 2:00. The Emcee for the evening will be Jim van Pelt, and the Invocation will be led by Wendy Videlock. Special Guest Speakers include Cullen Purser, Jessica Hauschulz, John Anglim, Sarah Dishong, Lee Borden, and more. Attendees can enjoy live music, a variety of finger foods and beverages, as well as beer provided by a local brewery. A donation of your choice is required for registration, contributing to the event costs and the creation of a custom bench by Pavia Justinian and Cullen Purser, to be displayed at the Art Center and then donated to the town of Palisade. The celebration pays tribute to the creativity and dedication of individuals who contribute to the arts community, highlighting the importance of honoring those who continue to inspire and create.
