Connect, Send Love is a writing workshop that offers a unique opportunity for participants to engage in thoughtful letter-writing practices. Designed to foster connections through correspondence, this special workshop provides guidance on the art of meaningful letter writing. Led by A. Emme Boyd, a renowned stationer, educator, and owner of Heavy Set Stationery Co, participants will be guided through prompts that emphasize interpersonal communication and intentional word choice. By the end of the workshop, each participant will have written a heartfelt letter to a loved one, equipped with strategies for crafting meaningful correspondence.

A. Emme Boyd, an avid letter writer and former poet, is passionate about the connecting powers of handwritten communication. As a stationer, she offers workshops to both youth and adults, imparting her knowledge and expertise on the art of letter writing. Her love for sending postcards, spending time near water, and savoring hot chai lattes in any weather further enhance her connection to the written word.

To attend this workshop, there is a nonrefundable fee of $15. However, if cost is a concern, please reach out to education@honestweight.coop for a fee waiver. No one will be turned away due to lack of funds. Additionally, all materials will be provided, and each participant will receive a $5 Gift Card from HWFC.
