After getting off at Sunset Station on the Red Line of the subway, there is a free bus to the Observatory at the exit, which takes you directly to the gate of the Observatory. It runs every 20 minutes. It is expensive to park by car, and you have to walk a distance to reach the Observatory. You need to learn how to take the subway, which is convenient and free of traffic jams. Google Maps gives accurate directions, and Baidu Maps is also easy to use...
