The “Colorful River of Loy Krathong 2024” will illuminate waterways to mark the start of the winter festival in Thailand, with Bangkok’s Phadong Krung Kasem canal, Chiang Mai, Roi Et, Samut Songkhram, Sukhothai and Tak becoming key locations for residents and visitors to release Loy Krathongs in honour of the water goddess.
From November 13 to 16, the Bangkok River of Loy Krathong will take place at the Klong Phadong Krung Kasem canal in Bangkok.
