It&#39;s quite large, so it&#39;s best to do some research beforehand. I managed to photograph the stolen crown and necklace. The price is really reasonable. Ticketing on Ctrip is also very convenient. I don&#39;t have much artistic talent; I just strolled around and took pictures. I went during the Chinese New Year period, and apart from the long queue for the Mona Lisa, the other places weren&#39;t too crowded.

The ticket was so easy to use, however, fair warning, it&#39;s not near from the Train Station, a good 10-15 minutes walk. But the palace is sooo beautiful and big, suggest that you come between 10 am - 2 pm to maximise the time and avoid huge crowd and group tours.
