Take this opportunity with your Assist'ers and MFCF women to give much focus to your health, fitness and nutrition. We can all kick 2025 off with the thought 'me' at the centre of our world for once! Then lets put this in action... MFC Foundation are helping us to get healthier, fitter and create body positive habits and perhaps shed a few pounds... is Match FIT for you? A free 12 week programme at the Riverside Stadium with MFCF Trainers to guide us in to the spring. The programme shows individuals how to: Improve eating habits by reducing portion sizes and swapping fatty and sugary foods for fruit, vegetables and high fibre foodsAchieve at least 45 minutes of moderate intensity physical activity on most days of the week. Receive weekly exercise sessions at the MFC Riverside for 12 weeks, and follow a personal pedometer based walking programme that encourages them to fit physical activity into your daily livesUse tried-and-tested behaviour change techniques to become more active and improve diet. These include regular self-monitoring of their weight and pedometer step counts and setting SMART goals to make changes that can be sustained long term.In total the program is 13 weeks, the first week 'week 0' is on Tuesday the 14th January, the trainers will share the plan of action for the programme and will get you ready for the Match FIT 12 week programme to start the following Tuesday. All you need to do is sign up now and tell us you are in and you will get the link to the MFCF team. As participants you should wear something you feel comfortable exercising in. Layers are advised, the concourse can be cold and with being outside it is best being wrapped up at first. A water bottle is essential. Are you in?
