Experience specialized Hockey GK Coaching at Letchworth Corner in Letchworth Garden City on May 11th. This exclusive 1 on 1 tuition session is tailored for goalkeepers aged 10 to 17 years old. Led by TA standard GK Coaches, the intense 2-hour training focuses on enhancing technique and abilities through rotation practice in the goal. With a maximum of 3 keepers per coach, participants will benefit from the expertise of Peter (Ratty) Hall, a Masters Goalkeeper and seasoned Club GK coach with national league experience. The session includes the use of advanced training equipment like a bola machine, Crazycatch rebound nets, deflector ramps, and mats to create challenging routines. Participants are required to bring their own GK Kit and refreshments. Photos will be taken during the event for social media purposes. In this fun relaxing workshop learn how to create a woven flower using green and red fishing line colours of your choice to add a little sparkle to your day! Lucy will have her own woven waste fishing line flowers with her to inspire your colour and style choice and will be hands on showing you the techniques you'll need to create the effects you want. Broadway Gallery is pleased to announce the opening of Leaving Were The Ones Who Could Not Stay, a new exhibition featuring the work of Beverley Carruthers, Bettina Furnée, Olga Jürgenson and Idit Elia Nathan, opening on Thursday 4 September at Broadway Gallery, Letchworth.

In 1898 Ebenezer Howard wrote the book "Garden Cities of Tomorrow" - a bold vision of a new kind of living incorporating the best elements of Town and City Living In 1903 it was time to put these ideas into practice and Richard Parker and Raymond Unwin began designing Letchworth Garden City according to Howard's ideals On this two hour walk, you will see some wonderful examples of early twentieth century domestic architecture as well as some of the industrial buildings including the Spirella building which made corsets and parchutes.   Letchworth is about 40 minutes out of London by train from Kings Cross or Moorgate stations.         Information Source: Rob Smith, Footprints of London | eventbrite
