The Sault Stryders' Spring Couch to 5Km Program in Sault Ste. Marie kicks off on April 24th, 2024, running for nine weeks. Participants will gather every Wednesday at 6 pm in front of the Sault Ste. Marie Public Library - James L. McIntyre Centennial Library located at 50 East Street. The program will adhere to the Just Run app, downloadable for free from Apple and Google Play stores. Geared towards beginners or those returning to running, the focus is on enjoyment and physical activity. All walking or running paces are encouraged to join, fostering an inclusive environment where no one is left behind. To secure a spot, registration is set at CA$15, which also covers the Sault Stryders membership for the year. This program aims to support individuals in their fitness journey while creating a supportive community for all participants.
