Experiment with mixed media / abstract art: o Making tissue papers with ink. o Work in layers with collage on the canvas using a gel medium o Use glazing gloss medium to create translucent layers o The process of adding and subtracting o Work with underpaintings, light, focal point and intuition to create something unique o Adding stenciling The process of adding and subtracting is a way to follow our intuitive voice to push beyond the first layer into the realm of the unknown. You may get something wonderful and completely unexpected. Please note, we are going to use the time together to experiment with different techniques that enhance layering in our abstract art pieces. We will focus on ways to start, choosing colors, making decisions while in process and how to follow your own intuitive voice.
