Experience the excitement of the 2024 JLA Banked Slalom event at Mammoth Mountain in Mammoth Lakes. This thrilling weekend celebrates the life of Jeff Anderson with a series of races suitable for riders of all ages and abilities. Taking place from March 22 to March 24, the event kicks off with Race Check-in on the 22nd from 4:00pm to 7:00pm at the MCC. The main race unfolds on March 23, featuring Open Practice at 9:00am, followed by the Rider Meeting and Event Start at 10:00am. Awards and Apres await participants at 4:00pm. On March 24, the Kids Race begins with Late bib pick up from 8:00am to 8:30am, with a similar schedule to the main race day. Remember, all registrations must be completed online as no onsite registration will be available. Riders are required to check in at the MCC to sign event waivers and collect their race bib. presented by PATAGONIA with support from MAMMOTH LAKES TOURISM The kid sibling to our flagship Flash Foxy Climbing Festival in Bishop , the Flash Foxy Trad Fest is a three-day climbing event for women and genderqueer climbers of all ages with rotating locations every 3-5 years. This is our first year in Mammoth Lakes, CA, and we're excited to be on the East Side for an epic weekend of community building, skillsharing, and play! We hope that the Flash Foxy Trad Fest will not only reach experienced climbers but also provide a safe space for beginner climbers to come and learn more about all that climbing has to offer. FESTIVAL DATES: September 12-14, 2025 While this event will focus on trad climbing (aka traditional climbing), there will also be opportunities for top roping and bouldering! We strongly believe in keeping the festival affordable so that folks of all situations who love climbing can attend which is why we have a “pay more if you are willing and able” model. The standard registration cost for the weekend is $180 - but we have also created options for lower-cost and higher-cost tickets ranging from $100-$250. If you feel that you can afford the higher price and would like to help offset the costs for other participants, please select a $200 or $250 Festival Pass. We have a limited number of $100 Festival Passes available. Lower-cost festival passes will go on sale July 15. There are also full scholarships available and opportunities to volunteer ( click here for details ). Our events are jam-packed with both humans and activities and can be an overwhelming experience for our canine friends. Additionally, dogs can be a safety hazard during clinics and workshops. To avoid conflict, we would prefer that you leave your pup at home. Thank you for understanding! Service dogs are allowed at all festival programming. If you will be bringing a service animal to your clinic or workshop please email events@flashfoxy.com so that we can ensure that the venue can accommodate dogs. All festival attendees must have received a minimum of 1 dose of any COVID-19 vaccine to attend any Flash Foxy event. All attendees must present proof of vaccination at registration. Proof of vaccination may consist of physical or digital vaccine records. If you have a positive COVID-19 test or contact with someone with a confirmed or suspected case of COVID-19 within one week of the festival we ask that you do not attend. The Mammoth Film Festival (or "MammothFF") is an annual film festival held every February in Mammoth Lake, California, USA. Founded in 2018 by Tanner Beard (CEO) and Tomick Mansouri, the festival showcases the work of independent filmmakers, actors, directors, screenwriters, and producers. The festival comprises numerous events, including world premieres of feature films and television series, short stories and other digital format programming, as well as the renowned Mammoth Media Academy charity celebrity bowling tournament, educational and interactive panel discussions with top industry leaders, and the MammothCON vendor pavilion. The 12th Mammoth Lake Film Festival will be held from May 20th to 24th, 2026.
