Primates are the closest living relatives to humans, sharing remarkable similarities in evolution, behavior, and social structures. From ancient ancestors leaping through tree canopies to upright-walking intelligent humans, primate evolutionary history spans an epic 55-million-year journey. This exhibition showcases globally rare and endangered primate specimens alongside ancient human fossils, presenting a comprehensive scientific exploration through precious specimens, large-scale art installations, interactive visuals, and immersive experiences. It systematically reveals primates' evolutionary path, ecological adaptations, and social behaviors, connecting the magnificent narrative from early primate divergence to the dawn of human civilization—highlighting how bipedalism ignited the spark of culture. The exhibition also focuses on endangered species conservation, featuring a special comparative display between humans and primates, while addressing global habitat protection issues to inspire public awareness and collective action in safeguarding Earth's biodiversity.

The 4th Chongqing Urban Art Festival, themed "Open June," has officially opened. Its flagship urban art brand event, "Riverbank Art Scene," features three open stages and nine outdoor shows. Leveraging the urban landscape along the two rivers and four banks, it gathers original creative talent from young people to create an outdoor performance scene where mountains, water, light, and shadow blend seamlessly, and music and fashion coexist harmoniously. As a key component of the "Riverbank Art Scene" at the 4th Chongqing Urban Art Festival, the "Mountains and Waters in Splendor" riverside art show debuted at Danzishi Square on May 29th. The show showcased graduation works from the 2026 graduating class of Fashion and Apparel Design majors at five universities: Sichuan Fine Arts Institute, Chongqing Normal University, Southwest University, Chongqing Technology and Business University, and Chongqing Second Normal University. The show presented the ingenious creations of contemporary youth.
