"Jingjue Adventure" Digital Exhibition of Niya Ruins in Xinjiang | Rongcheng
Exhibitions
The Ancient City of Jingjue, a pearl of the Western Regions embedded on the edge of the Taklamakan Desert, was once a vital city-state along the southern route of the ancient Silk Road. As a digital exhibition centered on the prototype of this "Eastern Pompeii," the "Ancient City of Jingjue" Xinjiang Niya Ruins Digital Exhibition draws inspiration from the "Ghost Blows Out the Light" IP. Through cutting-edge technologies like immersive XR archaeological experiences, interactive performances, and AIGC artifact haptic interactions, it digitally revives scenes such as the Niya Ruins' sand dunes, Jingjue's mysterious totems, and the camel bell-lit landscapes of the Western Regions. Visitors will transform into "archaeological explorers," unveiling the millennia-old legacy of the Princess of Jingjue in a virtual desert swept by howling winds, experiencing the eerie grandeur of the "Ancient City of Jingjue" as depicted in the novel.
The exhibition delves into the cultural roots of the Silk Road's western regions, employing innovative digital technologies to transform desert archaeology into immersive experiences. Visitors are invited into digitally crafted spaces that reinterpret the ancient history of Jingjue, offering a sensory feast that sparks unlimited imagination about the future. Divided into six chapters—Treasure Hunt in the Dunes, Mirage Oasis, Queen's Illusion Realm, Secret Treasure Wonderland, Journey Through Jingjue, and Archaeological Expedition—the exhibition features immersive desert exploration zones, interactive oases, a balloon playground, and a fantasy theater. This extraordinary journey through the lost city of Jingjue bridges technology and civilization across time.
