Susana Williams Band
is a vibrant, genre-blending project led by vocalist and multi-instrumentalist Susana Williams. Mixing elements of pop, Latin, and rock, the band creates a dynamic sound that’s rhythmically rich, emotionally charged, and irresistibly danceable. This 6-piece ensemble features some of Vancouver’s most well-known musicians, delivering an unforgettable live experience that reflects Susana’s deep musical roots and passion for connection through music.

usana Williams
is a Venezuelan Canadian vocalist, multi-instrumentalist, composer, and bandleader with over 30 years of professional experience. Her music blends pop, Latin, and rock into a bold, high-energy sound rooted in rhythm, melody, and emotional depth. Susana began performing professionally at 13 and led her own band before moving to Canada in 1998. She has since become a dynamic force in Vancouver’s music scene, performing at major events such as the Vancouver and Victoria Jazz Festivals and the 2010 Winter Olympics. She has shared the stage with acclaimed artists including Arturo Sandoval, Alex Cuba, and Poncho Sanchez.
Susana was the lead singer of
Rumba Calzada
for four years, during which time the band was nominated for a
Western Canadian Music Award
in 2024. She also served as lead vocalist for
Orquesta Goma Dura
for 18 years. As a composer, she writes for film and television through Melodie (Australia) and has produced original music for herself and other artists. In addition to her performing and composing career, Susana is an experienced and dedicated
