Come di consueto alla Biennale di Venezia, ci sono padiglioni per ogni Paese che ha interesse nell'egemonia culturale, e i Paesi cercano di ridefinirsi in modo più contemporaneo, più moderno e più autocritico, come il padiglione francese e quello americano, in cui gli artisti cercano di rivedere le politiche dei loro Paesi. In questo scenario immaginario, un padiglione che riunisce tutta la regione del Mena e del Sud globale vedrà la luce durante l'edizione 2048, insieme ai principali padiglioni internazionali, riunendo gli artisti più artisticamente influenti della regione. Gli artisti di questo padiglione cercano di mettere in luce le ultime percezioni cosmiche del mondo in cui viviamo. Ispirato al metodo del maestro di balletto Enrico Cecchetti, GRAZIOSISSIMO esplora il “port de bras”, gesto codificato della danza classica (nello specifico, il passaggio delle braccia per le posizioni di base della danza classica), mostrando come possa integrarsi nella nostra esperienza quotidiana. Adottando un approccio minimalista, GRAZIOSISSIMO vuole capovolgere la prospettiva dello spettatore, trasformando movimenti sofisticati in familiari: lo straordinario diventa ordinario. In Umlaut il teatro è la ricoreografia del simbolico incorporato, una pressa per autodemolizioni. Uno degli strumenti coreografici utilizzati è il quoting, mezzo di riassemblaggio che pone il performer fuori dal tempo cronologico ed opera come una dieresi sulla genealogia corporea, poiché l'origine è uno scarto continuo o per meglio dire, il corpo è un rimando continuo di scarti in asincrono. Questa storia è una vita in lipsync. L'unico mezzo di produzione che ci viene concesso è l'autotune . L'evento è inserito nella programmazione di ULTRA, progetto rrealizzato con il sostegno del Ministero della Cultura - Direzione Generale Spettacolo ed è vincitore dell'Avviso Pubblico Lo spettacolo dal vivo fuori dal Centro -Anno 2024 promosso da Roma Capitale - Dipartimento Attività Culturali in collaborazione con LEA e con SIAE BIO VINCENT GIAMPINO Vincent Giampino si forma tra Italia, Germania e Olanda dove consegue il B.A. presso l S.N.D.O. School for New Dance Development di Amsterdam. Presenta i suoi lavori tra Germania, Belgio e Olanda e nel 2017 un suo lavoro co-creato con la collega Oneka Von Schrader è finalista al “Prix Jardin d’Europe” di Impusltanz. Tornato in Italia presenta i suoi lavori in alcuni festival e teatri italiani tra cui Gender Bender, Fabbrica Europa, Teatri di Vetro, Teatro Florida, Short Theater. Le classic c’est chic! è una piattaforma progettuale nata con l'obiettivo di decolonizzare l’immaginario che riguarda la tecnica classica accademica. Le classi per non professionist3 (débutants) costituiscono il cuore di questa progettualità, così come la relazione con lo spazio pubblico. Una forma di riconquista e risignificazione di questo e del suo attraversamento, agito con i corpi, in un’azione di cura collettiva, utilizzando la tecnica classica che, al contrario, i corpi li esclude e, nella migliore delle ipotesi, li relega nella posizione di dover essere più o meno vessati, pur di avvicinarsi il più possibile ad un modello estetico, innescando dinamiche molto distanti dalla comprensione e dalla scoperta delle possibilità che ogni corpo nella sua diversità esprime. “Ho cominciato a studiare danza classica nel mio paese natale, fino ad arrivare alla Scuola di Ballo del Teatro dell’Opera, dove mi sono diplomata. Ho lavorato poi nel corpo di ballo, nel momento esatto in cui stavo scoprendo la danza contemporanea. La grande distanza che ho sempre sentito rispetto al modus operandi tipico di quell'ambiente, mi ha portata a scegliere di dedicarmi alla danza contemporanea. La tecnica classica ha continuato a rappresentare per me un punto di riferimento come training, che ho integrato con le nuove scoperte che via via andavo incarnando. Questo mi ha portato a svuotare la tecnica classica da tutto quello che ha a che fare con un'attitudine estetica fine a se stessa, a mettere in discussione la gerarchia dei corpi che propone e soprattutto ribaltare la relazione che innesca rispetto al proprio corpo: da battaglia infinita per farlo aderire il più possibile ad un modello, all’utilizzo di questa tecnica come strumento di comprensione del corpo e delle sue possibilità.” - Anna Basti Per partecipare non è necessaria alcuna esperienza pregressa! Per l'outfit va bene tutto: tute tutine tutulette, basta che siate a vostro agio in movimento. Scarpe, le più morbide e comode che avete, considerando che saremo comunque sul cemento. L'evento è co-realizzato con ATCL – Associazione Teatrale fra i Comuni del Lazio BIO ANNA BASTI Anna Basti è danzatrice, performer e ricercatrice indipendente, con un background che affonda nella danza classica e contemporanea. Ad oggi il suo percorso di ricerca ha come focus il corpo, organismo complesso e poroso, informato dal contesto di riferimento in cui vive. Questa ricerca si articola attraverso piattaforme progettuali che usano diversi formati, orientate soprattutto al lavoro e alla condivisione di saperi con corpi non alfabetizzati nel campo delle tecniche di movimento.
