Summer Day Camp Paleo Camp Week (rising 2nd-5th graders) Lets go back in time to experience ancient enviroments. Campers will experience prehistoric adventures focusing on dinosaurs. Geology and fossil discovery. Other daily activities will include swimming and an art focus. Campers will canoe and fish at the end of the week. Information Source: Haw River State Park | eventbrite

It's time to hone your Wilderness Skills. Campers will be putting their wilderness skills to the test, while learning a few new ones along the way. In addition, Adventure Campers will participate in a variety of outdoor experiences which include swimming, canoeing and fishing, while having fun with their co-campers. Haw River Adventure campers will be experiencing an extended day July 1st. Campers will remain at the park for a dinner picnic provided by the park. They will then stay for after-dark activities such as a night hike and campfire with smores and songs. Campers will be picked up at 9:00pm on the evening of July1st. This 3 day, 2 night camp will be for rising 2nd - 8th graders and their special grandparent(s). Some of the special activites include fun games for all ages, family projects, easy to moderate hiking, fishing, canoeing and campfire fun. Daily activities will include pool time, art focus projects and restful free time to enjoy nature. All moderately strenous activities will have an alternative program option. Join us for the first ever Grand Camp Reunion. If you and / or your family have partcipated in Grand Camp over the years, please come for a walk down memory lane with good friends. Help us celebrate 18 wonderful years of Grand Camp. Lunch is included. $40 Overnight Stay July 26th Option If you are interested in coming in on Saturday evening to stay before the Grand Camp Reunion, accomodations are available for the night.
