Conference Overview The Black Girls Govern Conference is a free, half-day leadership and civic engagement experience designed for Black girls ages 13–18 in the Tampa Bay area. This empowering event equips participants with the knowledge, tools, and community support to grow into confident, informed leaders. Throughout the day, participants will take part in: Interactive workshops exploring personal power, civic engagement, and leadership. Conversations with Black women leaders about purpose, impact, and public service. Creative activities designed to uplift each girl’s voice and vision for change. Opportunities for networking, reflection, and community-building in a supportive space. All attendees will receive a free conference T-shirt, lunch, and access to materials and resources that support continued learning and leadership. Conference Details Date: Saturday, August 2, 2025 Time: 11:00 AM – 2:00 PM Location: Arthenia L.
