ADVANCED group riders are not going to be stopping for long breaks and just want to crack on and get it done.Pace will be consistent and some very challenging lanes thrown in.Fuel and food stops on route. A regular have a go at most things trail rider should opt for the INTERMEDIATE.Still pretty challenging and varied green roads and longer lunch and fuel stops as required. Opt for an EASY group if you are relatively new to trail riding or you just prefer the more relaxed and scenic rideout. Plenty of stops to catch your breath and nice breaks to take in the scenic views. In all cases your bike and yourself MUST BE road legal and effectively silenced. Small number plates around here lead you on to spot fines of £100 and also lead to the whole group getting held up on route,so please purchase and fit a legally sized plate.(Plastic ones snap so fit an aluminium or flexible type) In order for us to continue riding in the area it goes without saying that we MUST all be considerate to other road users and residents and the green roads we are using and abide by the TRF code of conduct. Road legal trail and enduro bikes only. YOU ENTER THE HEREFORD HOSPICE TRAIL AT ENTIRELY YOUR OWN RISK. We and anyone one else involved accept no responsibility for any injuries, accidents to you us and you or others whilst out riding or at the venue under any circumstances or situation. Its a fun weekend at Baskerville Hall and it provides us with a superb base to host it, in an outstanding location in Clyro near Hay on Wye. If your partner/friend e.t.c would also like to come and enjoy the local area and amenities whilst your out and about on your bike then they are most welcome to purchase a spectator ticket.Hay On Wye is close by and offers a plethora of cafes and bookshops,e.t.c to peruse at your leisure or maybe try canoeing in the Wye ? Musical Arts
"Hello... is there anybody in there?" Let Me In Presents are back, returning for a UK Cathedral Tour , this Autumn, of their brand new production - An Evening of Pink Floyd - following their sell-out, acclaimed tour of An Evening of Radiohead . It promises to be a spectacular live show featuring a full live band, vocalists and a string & brass ensemble, performing in some of the most breathtaking buildings in the UK. Witness the iconic sound of Pink Floyd's vast and ethereal catalogue of music, performed live by the acclaimed Let Me In House Band , alongside the Mike Nowland String and Brass Ensemble - featuring a total of 18 musicians, embodying the timeless songs of one of the most popular artists of all time. Expect to hear hits and hidden gems from across their discography, with a particular focus on the inimitable run of records from the 1970s, including Dark Side of The Moon, Wish You Were Here and The Wall. We are welcoming the return of the acclaimed band from An Evening of Radiohead, featuring additional musicians to employ the great, epic sound created by The band will be fronted by Christopher Buckle and Musical Director - Ewan Steady , and will include musicians and Floyd lovers - Alfie Woods, Bruce Higgs, Daniel Anketell, Josh Semans, Eleanor Kinsey, Lydia Karaviotis and more. The band will be accompanied by very special guests and nationally renowned string and brass players - Mike Nowland, Mathias Svensson, Caroline Bodimead, Kate Scrivens, Laurie Dempsey, Hannah Paterson, Julian Turner, Andy Clennell & Chris Beagles. NOTE - We believe that the arts have both the potential and responsibility to support the strengthening of communities and in actively fighting against injustices that provide a select few in society opportunities that should be accessible to everyone. We are constantly pushing ourselves to find new ways to collaborate with individuals and communities across the Midlands in seeing how we can develop projects that aren’t just artistically enjoyable but that enable space for reflection on how to make our communities more open, safe and without prejudice. Because of this, we do not want to put any financial barriers between our work and our audiences - if you find this is the case, please email us on chris@letmeinpresents.co.uk and we can discuss alternative ticketing arrangements to enable you to come to the event if you wish to. FAQs When do doors open? Doors will open 45 minutes before the music begins, meaning they will open at 6.45pm. This will give you ample time to come into the space, find your seat and relax before the music begins at 7.30pm. What are the stage times? There is no support act, so the music will begin at 7.30pm sharp. There will be two sets with a 20 minute interval, with the event finishing around 10.15pm. Will there be strobes/haze/flashing lights? Yes, there will be strobes and flashing lights throughout the performance, so we recommend that this production is not suitable for those with epilepsy or that struggle with strobes and flashing lighting. Haze will be used where possible, venue permitting. What age is the performance suitable for? This performance is suitable for all ages, however, there are some intense lighting and sound moments throughout the evening, and we would recommend parental discretion. Anyone under 16 must be accompanied by an adult (18+). What are the seating arrangements? When you book your tickets, you can select which section you would like of unreserved seating. This gives you first-come-first-served access to that section of seating and does not guaratee you a particular seat. We will ensure that all parties are sat together. Is there disabled access? It is incredibly important to us that our performances are accessible to everyone that wants to come - therefore, we have ensured that An Evening of is accessible to all. We recognise that not all accessibility is visible, therefore we have separated ticketing into two bands - Accessible and Wheelchair Accessible. Please ensure you book the specific ticket for your needs, this way we can make sure we have ample staff and space to make sure you are all as comfortable as possible. From here, our staff will ensure everyone is happy and comfortable. Please note that companion tickets are free of charge, when purchased with an Accessible Ticket. What is the view like in the "restricted view" section? The restricted views seats are at the sides of the main nave, and can range from a decent view to being behind a pillar. These are unreserved, so you can end up getting a great spot if you arrive early, however, the price reflects the inconsistency of these views. Will there be refreshments on site? There will be an affordable selection of refreshments being sold on site, and you are encouraged to buy from the on site bar to help the Cathedral continue the community engagement work it does. Will there be parking on site? There are various car parks nearby to the venue, including city centre parking. Will there be toilets on site? Yes, there are toilets on site. What if I need more information? Feel free to email Chris at chris@letmeinpresents.co.uk with any questions you may have. We are always happy to help and our door is always open! David Blandy is an artist examining global structures of control and networks of resistance, in areas that range from ecology, history and science to arenas of play. He makes videos, games, sound and ephemera, deconstructing forms to put them back together again. He searches for meaning in cultural life, an expanded form for auto-anthropology, sifting through multiple forms of archive, from historic texts to academic archives, archaeology and ecological theory, twitch streams and film archives; Blandy weaves poetic works that explore the complexities of the contemporary subject. He builds complex stories that sketch out a future of interdependence, through visual poetry and immersive play. Blandy’s projects involve complex installations, performance, writing, gaming and sound. Radical Care Artist Talk Series is a programme of free public talks presented by Hereford College of Arts and Meadow Arts . It explores the question of care in the context of contemporary art and how artists are transforming their creative practices to foster well-being and connectedness. Whether you’re a practising artist, student, graduate, or simply curious about the power of art to inspire change, all are welcome to join these free public events to gain fresh insights and engage with bold ideas shaping the future of contemporary art. -- Please note: This event is taking place at The College Road Univserity Campus in the Main Hall. Divine Feminine: Awakening the Goddess Within A Women's Circle Half-Day Retreat Join us for an extraordinary evening of connection, discovery, and empowerment as we explore the timeless wisdom of feminine archetypes through the stories of ancient Goddesses. DISCOVER THE GODDESS INANNA: QUEEN OF HEAVEN AND EARTH Saturday, May 30th, 2025 | 4:00 PM - 9:30 PM About This Experience This is not just another women's gathering. This is a sacred space where mythology meets modern life, where ancient wisdom offers profound insights for today's woman. In our first circle, we'll be exploring the powerful archetype of Inanna , the Sumerian Queen of Heaven and Earth. Known for her journey to the underworld, Inanna teaches us about: Embracing both light and shadow aspects of ourselves The courage to descend into our depths and emerge transformed Standing in our power and sovereignty The cyclical nature of death and rebirth in our lives What to Expect Our intimate half-day retreat weaves together multiple elements to create a holistic, immersive experience: Sacred Storytelling : Hear the ancient tales of Inanna brought to life Creative Expression : Engage in hands-on craft activities that connect you to the Goddess energy Sharing Circle : Find your voice in a supportive space of deep listening Ritual & Song : Experience the power of collective voice and intention Nourishing Feast : Enjoy thoughtfully prepared food from Lyde Court Kitchens Community Connection : Form meaningful bonds with like-minded women Why Goddess Archetypes? The Goddesses of ancient cultures offer us powerful mirrors to understand ourselves. Their stories contain universal truths about the feminine experience across time. By exploring these archetypes, we: Recognize divine qualities within ourselves Access forgotten wisdom and intuition Find new perspectives on our personal challenges Expand our understanding of what it means to be a woman Connect to something larger than ourselves Who Is This For? This circle welcomes all who identify as women and are curious about exploring feminine wisdom through mythology. Whether you're new to goddess work or have been walking this path for years, you'll find something meaningful in this experience. No prior knowledge of mythology or spiritual practices is required—just an open heart and mind. Details Date : Saturday, May 30th, 2025 Time : 4:00 PM - 9:00 PM Location : Lyde Court, Hereford Investment : £25 What to Bring : A journal, comfortable clothing, and any personal items you'd like to place on our communal altar Capacity : Limited to 15 women to ensure an intimate experience About Your Guide Like many women on this path, my journey has been one of transformation—from struggle to empowerment, from anxiety to inner peace. For over 25 years, I've dedicated myself to understanding how our bodies hold both our deepest tensions and their own innate wisdom for healing. My path began with traditional yoga teaching, but something always felt incomplete. Despite my training, I noticed my own body stubbornly holding tension, particularly around my breath and diaphragm. It wasn't until a profound experience with Primitive Reflex integration that I discovered what was missing. This revelation transformed not only my personal experience of anxiety but also my entire approach to helping women. I discovered that true healing isn't about managing symptoms but about helping the body remember its natural state of calm—much like the goddesses remember their divine nature throughout their mythic journeys. What makes my approach to the Goddess Circles unique is the integration of ancient wisdom with embodied understanding—honouring both the archetypal and the physical aspects of feminine healing. I believe that when we work with these powerful goddess archetypes, we not only connect with their stories but also reconnect with our own true essence. Today, I help women worldwide break free from limiting patterns so they can embrace their full potential with confidence and joy. These Goddess Circles extend beyond storytelling to a profound remembering—guiding each woman back to the divine feminine wisdom that has always lived within her. I invite you to join me on this journey of transformation, where the ancient goddesses become mirrors for our modern lives, and where mythology becomes a pathway to remembering your own sacred nature. Future Circles This is the first in a series of Goddess Circles. Future dates will explore other powerful feminine archetypes including: Lakshmi, Isis, Mary Madgalene, Pele, Bridget and more Reserve your place now to begin this journey of feminine wisdom, connection, and self-discovery. It persistently exposes the undervalued and stigmatised aspects of women’s daily lives, exemplified by pioneering works such as Drawing on a Mother’s Experience (1988) and Kitchen Show (1991), which the Arts Council Collection recently acquired. Current and forthcoming projects include the Hayward Touring exhibition Acts of Creation: On Art and Motherhood at Dundee Contemporary Arts (19 Apr–13 Jul 2025); An Edible Family in a Mobile Home (1976) remade in 2023 as part of Women in Revolt! Art and Activism in the UK 1970–1990 at Tate Britain, touring to the Whitworth, Manchester (7 Mar–20 Apr 2025). Established by Baker in 1995, 'Daily Life Ltd' makes art that explores and celebrates everyday life and human behaviour. Their work is rooted in Baker’s vision and art practice, and collaborators include like-minded artists and organisations across the arts, health, and disability sectors.
