Can I get a refund if I cannot attend the event due to illness, COVID, or any other reason? Unfortunately, according to our Terms and Conditions, tickets are non-refundable unless the event is cancelled or rescheduled. However, you have the option to resell or transfer your tickets since we do not require names for entry. Please note that contracting COVID or any other illness does not qualify for a refund. You can utilise Twickets for reselling your tickets. https://partners.twickets.live/incrediblesilentdiscos/ 2. I haven’t received my tickets/confirmation email. How can I find it? In many instances, guests who are unable to locate their tickets may find that their email address was misspelt. Additionally, if you used PayPal or Apple Pay, your tickets may have been sent to the email address associated with those accounts. If you still cannot find your tickets, please contact us at help@silentdiscosincredibleplaces.com. 3. Can I amend my ticket if I purchased it for the wrong time slot? If there is availability, ticket transfers are possible. Please contact us at help@silentdiscosincredibleplaces.com for further assistance. However, if the event is sold out, we cannot accommodate a transfer as there are no available spaces left. 4. Will there be more tickets available if the event is sold out? If the event is sold out, we will not release any additional tickets or sell them at the door due to maximum capacity and health and safety regulations. 5. Is there a waiting list for sold-out events? We do not have a waiting list. However, you can check for resale tickets on Twickets, an official fan-to-fan ticket resale platform. https://partners.twickets.live/incrediblesilentdiscos/ 6. Do you offer concessions for disabled attendees? Yes, we provide a free Personal Assistance ticket for registered disabled individuals upon receiving supporting documents such as PIP or Access Card. Please contact us at help@silentdiscosincredibleplaces.com for assistance. 7. Are there seating options available for those who cannot stand for long periods? Limited seating is usually provided for individuals who are less able to stand or need to rest. 8. Is the venue accessible? Our events take place in various locations across the World. Please check the venue's website for accessibility information. 9. Are your headphones compatible with hearing aids/ear implants? Our headphones are completely compatible with standard hearing aids, however if the hearing aids are designed to amplify in the range of 70hz-8500hz, the headphones are unlikely to be compatible. This would potentially cause them distortion and across the board for all Silent disco Equipment. 10. Is food/drink available for purchase at your events? If our launch event is anything to go by, then you're in for a special evening! Powered Up Business Networking (PUBNetworking) is an “out of hours” networking event that does away with the usual networking formalities. You’ll get to learn about the people behind the business - without a torrent of sales pitches …and bland tea and coffee. And you’ll get to have a lot of laughs whilst you’re at it! As you know, the best business connections are the people you want to spend time with outside of work. They’re the people you can trust, and whose company you enjoy. PUBNetworking is the place to find them. We have a loose structure, relaxed atmosphere and the opportunity to learn from other business experts - with no strings attached. Just bring yourself, your e-ticket and your best smile and you’re good to go. Each event has four objectives… Meet awesome people We have a wide range of business people that attend. From start-ups to those with 30 years experience - across a wide range of industries. Everyone that attends is under no obligation to attend (we have no memberships, or contracts) so they’re there purely to meet people like you. Build long-lasting relationships We believe in a 'people buy from people' philosophy. In a relaxed environment, everyone feels comfortable and the connections you make are less forced, and more genuine. You’ll get to know each person in more detail - and have a good time doing so. Learn things without pitches Each event is productive and valuable. And we want everyone to walk away having learned something new. Our speakers offer genuine value, without sneaky sales pitches. We want you to take what you learn and use it to benefit your business. Have fun And above all, we want you to have fun. Sometimes that’s easier with a drink in your hand (it also makes the terrible jokes slightly more tolerable…). Our networking events are all about you, your passions and your business success. What’s happening at this event? For this event, our speaker is the awesome Lynsey Skinner and her talk is called "Building Better Business – The B Corp Journey" Lynsey will be sharing her path to achieving B Corp status, the steps involved, and the values that drive a certified B Corp. Discover what it means in practice and why it matters for modern business. Location. Held at The White Hart on South Street, we have their Bottle Screw function room all to ourselves. And a great selection of drinks too! Plan for the night: 7.30 - Meet, greet & network. Your chance to sign in, grab a drink and speak to anyone you’d like. 7.50 - Introduction from Richard. 7.55 - Your chance to tell the room about yourself with a PUBNetworking difference… 8.20 - 1-2-1 with someone you like. 8.35 - Grab a drink/have a break. 8.50 - Presentation from Lynsey. 9.15 - Close the meeting and optional further networking. 9.30 - End/move downstairs into The White Hart to have a further drink should you wish. Important: Due to the nature of the venue, and room size, there are a limited number of spaces available. If you’d like to come along and enjoy a great evening of laughs, laid-back networking and actionable business help, reserve your space with an e-ticket now. Tickets cost: £14.77 (And there’s probably no better way to spend it!) See you there! Information Source: Powered Up Business Networking | eventbrite

How Speed Dating Works in Exeter When you arrive at the Exeter venue you will be greeted by our friendly professional hosts. Once everyone has arrived and registered we will briefly explain the format of the evening. The ladies will then be asked to make their way to their allocated table. Once the ladies are seated the gentlemen will be asked to proceed to their first date. You will have 4 minutes to chat to each date, once the 4 minutes is over we will ring a bell to indicate the time is up and for the gentlemen to move to their next date. Four minutes is long enough to see if you click with the person you are talking to and whether you would like to see them again and also short enough if you don't. At the end of each date you have a brief few moments to make some notes on the person you have just dated. This is something to help jog your memory for the post event matching process the next day. Half way through the event you will have an interval break so you can nip to the toilet or top up your drink. Once all the dates are over you have the opportunity to stay on at the venue to mingle freely with others. In these fun, hands-on workshops, participants will explore the creative process of making music from the ground up, literally! We’ll work on a small, collaborative project, using ‘found sounds’, our voices and bodies, and traditional instruments to create a range of pieces that fit the day’s brief. An evening of new music at Exeter Library, headlined by the spellbinding Anna Ling , with support from Third Girl From the Left and more TBA About Anna Ling: Rooted in folk traditions yet strikingly fresh, Anna Ling’s music has been described as “captivatingly visceral and descriptive” (York Calling). With airplay on BBC Radio 3 , performances at leading UK festivals, and regular tours across the country, Anna is known for weaving intricate folk melodies, raw storytelling, and lush, expansive harmonies. Her live performances invite audiences into a shared space of connection, where delicate, soaring vocals meet rich instrumental textures of clarinet, bass, and percussion. Expect haunting songs, intimate moments, and melodies that stay with you. “Amazing” — BBC Introducing “The lush voice of Anna Ling” — Jazz FM Third Girl From the Left: TGFTL aka Nicky describes themselves as slightly unhinged art pop meets alt folk rock! In May 2025 their single ‘ Hollowed’ was shortlisted on Fresh On The Net’s Listening Post and was selected for the Eclectic Picks playlist.
