Deutsches Haus Oktoberfest | New Orleans
Celebration
New Orleans hosts its own version of Oktoberfest every October for three weekends at the Deutsche House social club at 1700 Moss Street in Midtown, celebrating the city's rich German history. The event includes traditional elements such as authentic food and live music. While other Oktoberfest events exist elsewhere in the metropolitan area, the Deutsche House Oktoberfest is undoubtedly the largest.
On three Fridays and Saturdays—October 9-10, 16-17, and 23-24 (Fridays from 4 pm to 11 pm, Saturdays from 1 pm to 11 pm)—a Bavarian-themed celebration is held at the Deutsche House center in the city center (address: 1700 Moss Street, opposite Bayou St. John next to City Park). Authentic food and music, interactive programs for children, and other exciting activities allow participants to deeply immerse themselves in German culture and tradition.
