The Shorties RULE! Volleyball Tournament is a highly-anticipated event for both men and women in Charlotte. Taking place at the CUVC venue on 2530 Whitehall Park Drive, this tournament is specifically designed for individuals who are 5'11" or under for men, and 5'7" or under for women. Height verification will be conducted at the start of the event to ensure fairness. The tournament will feature indoor nets set 4 feet lower than the standard height, providing a unique challenge for the participants. Divisions will include Competitive and Upper Intermediate, with the number of team slots in each division adjusting based on sign-ups. Each team, consisting of either 4 men or 4 women, can register for a fee of $120. Teams will have the opportunity to compete in a minimum of 6 pool play games, with the top 2-3 teams from each net advancing to the playoffs. Additionally, women who meet the height requirement have the option to play in the Men's division.
