This presentation is the second rotation in a two-part series showcasing new additions to the Henry’s permanent collection. This rotation features paintings, sculptures, and drawings that explore ideas of space, time, and perception. Referencing spaces and geographies both real and imagined, these works invite us to consider how our surroundings shape the way we see and experience life.

The lantern festival will be held from February 21st to 22nd in front of Roosevelt High School in Eastville, California. Get ready for two unforgettable days! Enjoy spectacular performances, delicious food, and a dazzling display of lanterns, bringing our community together to celebrate the festive season. The lantern festival is the grand finale of the Lunar New Year celebrations, traditionally held on the 15th day of the first lunar month—a day when families and community members gather to celebrate the passing of winter and the arrival of spring.

Seattle — Seattle Center is a must-visit this holiday season. The “Center Holiday” event will bring lights, music, markets, and a fantastic festive atmosphere to the entire campus. From November 20 to December 31, visitors can enjoy a fantastic array of free and affordable activities, including the Winter Carnival sponsored by Symetra. The celebrations will kick off on November 20 with the Winter Carnival campus lighting ceremony, sponsored by the Climate Pledge Arena, illuminating the entire campus. The light show will continue until mid-April. In addition, the Seattle Center Armory Food & Event Hall—the hub for free holiday traditions—and other events will be held throughout the holiday season on the Seattle Center campus.

Whether you're feeling the festive spirit or not, the Honolulu City Hall light show in downtown Honolulu is a breathtaking visual spectacle. The celebrations kick off with the lighting of a 50-foot-tall Christmas tree, followed by a spectacular light parade. It's an event the whole family shouldn't miss. There are also food stalls, games, and children's playgrounds.
