Unlike top-down organized commercial music festivals, this monthly beach party has no unified organizing body. The event is a collaborative effort between individuals and businesses on Harlem Beach. The beach is transformed through the collective efforts of local businesses: they set up bars and stages, artists painted signs and created decorations, bars carefully selected and played their own music, and food vendors prepared food for hungry revelers. What you see is not the work of a central planning committee, but the result of the combined efforts of hundreds of participants.

The schedule for the 2026 Yeouido Spring Cherry Blossom Festival has finally been announced! This year's festival will last for five days, from April 8th (Wednesday) to April 12th (Sunday). You can enjoy more than 1,800 cherry blossom trees in full bloom along a 1.7-kilometer stretch of Yeouido West Road behind the National Assembly Building, creating a spectacular scene. The cherry blossoms are expected to begin blooming around the last weekend of March.

The Hoi An Full Moon Lantern Festival takes place on November 3 and December 3, 2025, and on January 2, February 1, March 2, April 1, May 30, June 28, July 27, August 26, September 24, October 23, November 22, and December 22, 2026. Hoi An's Full Moon Lantern Festival takes place on the 14th day of the first lunar month each year, transforming the UNESCO World Heritage-listed ancient city into a river of lights. In Buddhist tradition, the full moon is considered an ideal time for meditation, reflection, rituals, and ancestral worship. At sunset, the city's electric lights go out, and the streets are almost entirely illuminated by silk lanterns hung from balconies and in alleyways. Vendors set up stalls along the Thu Bon River, selling paper lanterns with small candles. Locals and tourists alike place these lanterns on the river to pray for good luck, health, or happiness.

The 16th Shanghai Cherry Blossom Festival will be held at Gucun Park from March 9th to April 9th, with the theme "Cherry Blossom Romance on the Sea, A Flourishing Display of Flowers." This year, the festival will feature a nighttime cherry blossom viewing experience for the first time. To enrich the park's viewing experience, the organizers have also prepared a variety of activities in the nighttime cherry blossom viewing area. A dreamlike scene interwoven with light and fragrance will be presented, based on the story of "Butterflies and Cherry Blossoms." Beautiful lighting and colors will create a romantic and enchanting nighttime cherry blossom atmosphere, combined with cultural activities related to anime, traditional Chinese style, and intangible cultural heritage, making it a must-visit highlight for tourists. The Kawashita venue offers a variety of activities, including a lilac flower tour and concerts. This March, Tokyo's nights shone even brighter with a brand-new projection event celebrating the 30th anniversary of one of the world's most popular franchises. Starting March 20th, visitors could experience "Pokémon Trading Card Game Tokyo Nights," a massive visual extravaganza inspired by the globally popular Pokémon series and its iconic trading card game. The event took place at the landmark Tokyo Metropolitan Government Building, transforming the building's massive facade into a stage of light and shadow. Projection mapping technology brought the unique designs of Pokémon cards to life in three dimensions, creating an immersive nighttime experience that blended animation, music, and dynamic visuals. Beloved characters like Pikachu were presented in stunning detail, offering fans across generations and cultures a new way to experience the Pokémon franchise. A special opening ceremony was held at Tokyo Metropolitan Plaza at 6:15 PM on the day of the premiere, including a countdown to the premiere, surprise appearances by Pikachu and other characters, and a brief discussion session. Admission is free, no reservations required, and the event is held rain or shine. Regular screenings in March will be held on weekends and public holidays at 6:30 PM, 7:30 PM, and 9:00 PM, with additional screenings planned.
