Here are a few helpful things to know before you arrive: 🛏️ Floating Bed Options Choose between a single floating bed or a double bed to enjoy the experience (one person per bed). We’ll help you get comfy on the bed poolside , then gently glide you onto the water. We do our best to keep you dry , but a small amount of splashing may occur. ➤ Please wear whatever you feel comfortable in , just in case you get a little wet. 🧸 Comfort & Support Blankets are provided for extra coziness while you float and relax. You are welcome to bring your own small pillow or eye mask if you wish. ⏰ Arrival Time Please arrive at least 10 minutes before the session begins. This allows time to settle in and ensures we start on time for everyone’s benefit. 🛟 Safety First A qualified lifeguard will be present throughout the entire session for your safety and peace of mind. We can’t wait to share this peaceful, immersive experience with you. 💙 If you have any questions or specific needs, feel free to reach out before the event. 🛟 Health & Safety Information 1. Participant Responsibility By attending this event, participants confirm they are in good physical health and able to safely participate in a floating sound bath. If you have any medical conditions (e.g., epilepsy, heart issues, vertigo, severe anxiety), are pregnant, or have concerns about floating or being near water, please consult your healthcare provider before attending. 2. Water & Slippery Surfaces While we aim to keep you dry on the floating beds, splashing or water contact may occur. Please move carefully around the pool area and be aware that surfaces may be slippery. Appropriate non-slip footwear is advised. 3. Lifeguard Supervision A certified lifeguard will be present for the entire session. Please follow all safety instructions from staff and lifeguards at all times. 4. Emergency Procedures In the unlikely event of an emergency, please remain calm and follow the guidance of staff. Lifesaving equipment and first aid support are available onsite. 5. No Swimming or Diving This is a relaxation event only . Swimming, diving, or entering the pool independently is not permitted during the session. Participants must remain on the floating beds provided unless otherwise instructed. 6. Respect Personal Boundaries Participants are asked to maintain quiet and respect others' personal space throughout the session to ensure a tranquil environment for all. 7. Clothing and Comfort Wear what you feel most comfortable in. While we aim to keep you dry, we cannot guarantee you won’t get a little wet. Towels and warm layers are recommended for after the session. 8. Arrive On Time Please arrive at least 10 minutes early . Late arrivals may not be permitted once the session has started, to maintain a peaceful and safe environment. 9. Alcohol & Substances Attendees must not be under the influence of alcohol or recreational drugs. Anyone who appears intoxicated will not be allowed to participate for safety reasons. Burnie Foreshore Boardwalk Art Prize Guidelines  The Burnie Foreshore Boardwalk Art Prize is an annual art competition open to amateur and professional artists.  Prizes are awarded as follows 1 ST ($500), 2 nd ($300), 3 rd ($200). A panel of three judges will determine the awards, all decisions are final.  A Peoples Choice prize of $100 will be awarded based on votes received by the public on the day.  First prize will be acquisitive, all other prizes are non-acquisitive. Introduction to Drypoint 'Drypoint' is the ideal introduction to 'intaglio' (etched) printmaking in colour or black and white. We use inexpensive clear plastic sheets on which we scratch designs using a sharp stylus and other simple tools. This produces extremely fine lines, rich tones and textures.
