Chamonix Vallée Photo Festival | Chamonix-Mont-Blanc
Celebration
Founded in 2023, the Chamonix Valley Photography Festival is an annual autumn event focusing on mountain and nature photography, held in several towns in the Chamonix-Mont Blanc Valley. Over three days, approximately twenty internationally renowned photographers gather to exchange ideas through exhibitions, high-altitude masterclasses, film screenings, academic conferences, and field trips to some of the most spectacular locations in the Mont Blanc region. More than 300 photographs are exhibited outdoors in five towns within the valley—Chamonix, Argentry, Lescho, Selwötz, and Vallorsing—transforming the area into an open-air gallery. The fourth Chamonix Valley Photography Festival will be held from Friday, October 23 to Sunday, October 25, 2026, in the Chamonix-Mont Blanc Valley. This year's theme is "Small Animals," presented on an official poster designed by photographer Daisy Giraldini. Twenty-five photographers from the five villages will exhibit nearly 800 works, with events including indoor and outdoor exhibitions, high-altitude masterclasses, film screenings, lectures, and a photography competition.
