As an indigenous artist hailing from the Klamath and Paiute tribes, Garcia's paintings embody her native worldview. Through traditional beading techniques, she also crafts soft sculptures inspired by everyday objects and mythologized artifacts from her father's incarcerated story. Her impressive artistic journey includes a BFA from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago and an MFA from the University of Nevada Las Vegas.
