Join Diane Morgan at the Artists Center at the Galen in Palm Desert, CA for the Wild Watercolor Weekend. This 2-day workshop is designed to inspire your creativity and allow you to express yourself using wild and joyful colors. Whether you are a novice or an experienced painter, all levels are welcome to attend. During the workshop, Diane will share her tried and true techniques for Realistic Watercolor painting, giving you the skills and confidence to create beautiful artwork. You will have the opportunity to bring your own photo references or use the options provided by the instructor. To participate in the workshop, you will need to bring your own painting supplies. A basic supply list includes watercolor paper (Arches brand is recommended), round soft hair brushes in various sizes, a divided plastic palette, and a board to attach the paper. Additionally, you will need water jars or paper cups, paper towels, masking tape, pencils, kneaded eraser, brush holder, spray bottle for water, and masking fluid. The instructor recommends using high-quality paint brands such as Winsor & Newton, Holbein, or Da Vinci, and provides a list of minimum and optional colors.
