GFNY Volunteers play an essential role in creating an unforgettable event for athletes, spectators, journalists, and special guests who come from all corners of the world. With over 100 volunteers needed over four days, your time, energy, support, and enthusiasm are crucial to the success of GFNY Maryland. Taking place on October 1, 2023, in the charming city of Cambridge, the 92-mile endurance race promises to be an exhilarating challenge. But before the race begins, we need volunteers to help with various tasks such as registration, setup, aid stations, clean up, and motorcycle marshaling. No matter your age or level of knowledge about cycling, your involvement is valued at the expo, aid stations, or the finish line. From September 28 to October 1, you can contribute to the event's success in different ways. On September 28, you can assist with packing goodie bags and setting up registration at the Expo. GFNY athlete registration and expo will take place on September 29 and 30. Finally, on October 1, the cycling race will take place, with assistance needed at the start, finish, and post-race festival, as well as at two aid stations. When you volunteer, you will receive detailed instructions via email before your shift, ensuring a seamless experience. If you have any inquiries or would like to involve your charity, organization, or school, please reach out to GFNY's Volunteer Coordinator at santiago@gfny.com.
