As the year draws to a close, Rich Art Gallery is honored to present the solo exhibition of artist Hakuta Yoshuya— _TABIJI 9_. This exhibition is not only a visual feast but also a profound exploration of the inner self. Life itself is an ongoing journey, and as time progresses, it is through time that we can witness, feel, and recognize its worth and beauty. The number 9 not only marks the artist's ninth year living in Taiwan but also symbolizes the concept and cycle of time. Through the artist's guidance, we kindly extend a warm invitation to everyone to ponder life's mysteries via the spiritual attributes presented by animals within the canvases. “Everyone living in this world is a traveler”, this concept applies not only to humans but also deeply mirrors the experiences of animals. Through the use of traditional Japanese washi paper, Asian gouache pigments, and a variety of foils, Hakuta skillfully captures the textures of animals with a distinct style that gives his paintings depth and richness. He portrays animals in all their majesty and energy with vividness. Animals never back down from a challenge posed by fate. Rather, they heroically face obstacles and overcome misfortune with their companions as they bravely venture into the unknown. The animals in Hakuta's works convey subtle messages through their body language, creating space for deeper imagination. He hopes that viewers can sense the spirit, character, and vitality of these animals and merge them with their own life experiences to evoke inner resonance. This exhibition aims to inspire viewers to, like animals, conquer their inner fears, hold fast to their faith, and face life with a fearless, adventurous spirit. Each person, on their unique journey, experiences the rich rewards life offers in their own way. _TABIJI 9_ also provides an opportunity for viewers to reflect on their own journey, contemplating the direction and meaning of life. Rich Art Gallery sincerely invites art lovers from all walks of life to embark on this journey of exploration, where art and life beautifully intertwine.

This year's Asian Biennale brings together 35 groups of artists from more than 20 countries in East Asia, Central Asia, West Asia, and the Pacific region, with diverse backgrounds, exhibiting works including sound, video, photography, painting, sculpture and installation. The 83 works in the exhibition, including 19 new creations, question the theory of progress and the universal concept of time, and guide the audience to focus on the present moment and think deeply about alternative imaginations and ideas about world order before transitioning to an uncertain future. practice. The theme of this year's Asian Biennale is "How to Hold Your Breath" which reverses the English proverb "Don't The original meaning of "don't hold your breath" is "don't expect change to happen soon", which implies potential hope. Influenced by global capitalism, contemporary people are always in a state of cultural and geographical migration. In the cosmos, we inhabit a multiverse of multiple worlds that coexist and constantly change. This phenomenon continues to change the identities, meanings, and structures of humans and non-humans, and new connections and senses of belonging are gradually emerging. A way of the world awakens people's potential to reconstruct relationships in the midst of collapse. The exhibition will also launch a public program that echoes the curatorial theme, including the “circular”ity) as the concept, a number of experimental performances using elements such as walking in a circle, spinning and dancing, and music loop playback; a series of performances focusing on challenging the established logic of power dominance through exploring issues such as displacement, imaginary futures, and dystopia. Artist talks; and the screening program "How Breath Moves", which is expected to start in December, will bring together 8 works with different artistic techniques, but jointly treat breathing as a collective film installation. A shared source of life and rhythm.

Crafted by an internationally award-winning team, trusted by 5 million in Europe and America. A grand collection of Impressionist masterpieces showcasing a century of classics in one visit. Blending the emotion of Taipei with the awe of Kaohsiung, Taichung converges the beauty of light and shadow—a new artistic horizon transcending time and space. Uniting the essence of three cities to create an immersive experience. Gallery 1 | Golden Impressions Introduction Through films, life-size reproductions, and diverse mediums, this exhibition takes visitors on a journey through the 150-year history and pivotal moments of Impressionism. Discover iconic masterpieces and artists while appreciating the movement's profound contributions to art history. The entrance features a video summarizing Impressionism's origins and Van Gogh's autobiographical account, offering deeper insights into his artistic journey. A highlight is the "Van Gogh Self-Portrait Wall," allowing visitors to experience his distinctive brushwork and vibrant color techniques up close. Exhibition Area 2 | Life & Leisure in the Flower City Artists such as Manet, Degas, Renoir, and Caillebotte captured the essence of life during the Industrial Revolution, urban transformation, and leisure activities in their paintings. Parks, cafes, dance halls, and bustling streets became their sources of inspiration. Their vivid subjects and bold styles evolved with the times, leaving behind a rich historical legacy. Exhibition Area Three | Art Capital In this art space, you will step into a gallery dedicated to Monet and Van Gogh, immersing yourself in the creative worlds of these two masters. Through animated paintings and life-size replica artworks, experience the flowing interplay of light and color in Monet's brushstrokes, and the emotional intensity embedded in Van Gogh's passionate strokes. It's as if you are in the Musée de l'Orangerie in Paris and the Van Gogh Museum in Amsterdam, allowing you to intimately appreciate how these two giants subverted tradition and inspired future generations with their unique perspectives, shaping the classic chapters of Impressionism and Post-Impressionism. Exhibition Area 4 | Dance of Light & Shadow Light and shadow are the soul of emotion. Through delicate brushstrokes, artists capture the fleeting interplay of light across different moments, seasons, and weather, transforming the ephemeral into the eternal—a tribute to nature. This section invites visitors into an artistic corridor woven with light and shadow, designed as a tunnel through time and space. Unpredictable projections dance across hanging thread curtains, flowing like water with each step, evoking the poetic transition between dawn and dusk. Exhibition Area 5 | Four Seasons The works of Impressionist painters are deeply connected to seasons and landscapes, capturing fleeting moments of nature's transformation with their distinctive brushstrokes. For instance, Monet's *Water Lilies* series showcases the evolving colors of a pond through the seasons—from spring's emerald greens to autumn's golden hues—imbued with poetry and fluidity. His *Wheat Fields* series depicts the rural scenery of the French countryside, transitioning from spring's fresh greens to midsummer's golden tones, revealing the unique atmosphere of farmland across different seasons.

Science enables us to solve problems, promote social progress, and bring convenience to human life. Pursuing scientific progress requires not only continuous research but also the promotion of scientific knowledge, the provision of an environment for learning and exploration, the fostering of curiosity, and the strengthening of understanding and trust in science, thereby enhancing public scientific literacy and increasing international competitiveness. Since 2020, the Taiwan Science Festival has presented over 100 science events and nearly 1,000 activities annually. Over the years, it has become a highly anticipated annual event, attracting over 1.8 million visitors. Each event addresses the United Nations' 17 Sustainable Development Goals, demonstrating the importance and contribution of science to achieving sustainable development. Rich Art presents its first exhibition of 2026 with artist Mobai’s solo exhibition Folded Midst: A Dwelling for Space and Spirit, on view from March 21st to May 10th. Amid the accelerated rhythms of contemporary life, Mobai’s works assume a posture of “sedimentation”, allowing time, perception, and space to slowly come into being through material density and the movement of air. “Folded Midst” does not refer merely to a physical act of folding, but to a prolonged modulation between natural transformation and human-made order. Mobai compresses time into density, causing space to perpetually recede and extend, and to seek within the fissures of plaster and xuan paper a recess capable of holding memory in suspension. Here, painting is no longer a purely virtual window, but a corporeal “painting-object”. Through the confrontation between rigid and supple materials, she anchors visual experience into a tactile stratum, allowing the work to become a material presence that intervenes in space. The works in this exhibition do not point toward a sealed or finalized state, but exist as continuously generating dwelling spaces. When viewers slow their pace to share the fluid time in the works, the folded emotions quietly unfold within silence. We sincerely invite you to enter this poetic experiment on dwelling, to experience how traces are formed and how time may be inhabited.
