The sixth edition of the Fartura Conceição do Mato Dentro Festival, which will take place from July 11 to 13, officially joins the ranks of national gastronomic events. A highlight of the city, the festival brings together tourists and locals for three days of celebration. This year, the festival continues to feature renowned local chefs, such as Lurdinha Majó and her cornmeal pie, celebrating the region's traditional culture. But it also invites chefs from all over the country to exchange experiences and flavors, such as Irina Cordeiro, a northeastern chef from São Paulo who owns two restaurants in São Paulo and was a contestant on the MasterChef show, who has confirmed her participation in the festival. The event follows the classic Fartura format, with fixed restaurant stalls in Praça do Rosário, theoretical and practical courses, and a live cooking area where chefs will teach recipes that everyone can try.
