From October 19th to the 21st, immerse yourself in the hauntingly beautiful world of Poe's stories and poems, brought to life by the exceptional talent of actor David Keltz, America's foremost Poe living historian.
The performances will take place in the visitor center auditorium, creating an intimate and atmospheric setting for the evening. As you enter, you will be greeted with light refreshments, including coffee and cookies, setting the stage for an evening of macabre delights.
Before the performances begin, take the opportunity to explore the Garfield home during the first half hour. This historic site holds a personal collection of several of Poe's works, making it the perfect backdrop for this tribute to the master of the macabre.
The program will commence promptly at 6:30 p.m. and 8:30 p.m., with doors opening 5 minutes prior to each scheduled ticket time. The performances will feature two of Poe's most iconic works - "The Raven" and "The Premature Burial" for the 6 p.m. shows, and "The Raven" and "The Tell-Tale Heart" for the 8 p.m. shows. Please note that doors will open at 5:55 p.m. and 7:55 p.m. respectively.
