2025 Jason Zhang FUTURE·LIVE—「Leave For 1982」World Tour-Kuala Lumpur | Stadium Merdeka
Jan 11, 2025 (UTC+8)
Kuala Lumpur
2025 Zhang Jie Wei·LIVE—"Go to 1982" Tour Concert
A journey through time,
a train "Go to 1982",
a moment when the past and the future meet.
The roaring melody of the train pushes the hands of time,
tells the thorns and pride along the way,
looks forward to the prosperity and brightness of the future.
Life is at its twenties, and this moment is just right,
join Zhang Jie on the Wei·LIVE—"Go to 1982" tour,
bend down and greet the children running for their dreams,
and chase the never-ending tomorrow!
Zhang Jie's Wei·LIVE—"Heading to 1982" concert tour will continue the familiar "Wei·LIVE" main IP. On the 20th anniversary of Zhang Jie's debut, we will look back on the past and look back on our original intentions, and use this as a node to continue to depict the present and look forward to the future. 1982 is the bud of dreams, the shape of original intentions, and the starting point for moving forward. Looking at it, do you also have a lot to say to yourself along the way?
The theme of this round of concerts will revolve around elements such as "station", "train", and "passenger". The conduct of a performance is like starting a journey through time, and we who participate in this round of concerts seem to have entered a transit station in time. The station is like life, with countless tracks rushing in and countless tomorrows rushing away. When you hold an unlimited ticket in your hand, you can choose any journey to open up the possibilities of Wei·LIVE. "Go to 1982" will connect Zhang Jie's musical story step by step through a new visual presentation and auditory feast, triggering emotional resonance in the singing, and hand in hand with the "travelers" coming and going, heading to the past and the future together.
This round of concerts will still be personally hosted by the top-level behind-the-scenes team, and will be produced by the agency Planet Culture. Luopan Culture, which has hosted Zhang Jie's Wei·LIVE-"Yao·Beidou" tour concert, will escort the whole process. EMBRACE LIVE directed by Zhu Xiaojing, the director team of the "Wei·How Are You" 2024 New Year's Eve Concert, will be responsible for the overall production. Qu Shicong, a famous music producer who has created many golden songs, will serve as the music director. Jin Shaogang, a hall-level sound engineer in the Chinese music industry, will be in charge of the scene. Li Hongbo, a stage builder who has created many hot search topics for the stage design of first-line artists, will be responsible for the design... The gold medal team will gather together to break the rules and make sounds!
In terms of stage design, "Go to 1982" has made a new breakthrough and upgrade. Whether it is the operation and coordination of multiple sets of stage lifting or the various shapes of the large screen, it can intuitively maximize the performance effect for different songs, so that the audience can enjoy the charm of Wei·LIVE in the wonderful visual enjoyment. At the same time, in the setting of the band and sound area, we will also try to create a more comfortable and shocking sensory experience for the audience.
The design of the tour content has also been comprehensively improved. The overall logic and content connection are smoother. The songs and VCR are closely connected and guided each other, which strengthens the integrity of the performance. Under the same theme of this round of tours, the early and late stages of the tour will be designed to present multi-dimensional differences in content. I hope that the audience can continue to reap surprises in this journey through time. This tour also carefully set up many links for close interaction with the audience. Every rush and mutual reflection make the heartbeat in sync, making the face-to-face scene more meaningful!
In the 20 years since Zhang Jie debuted, the hits he created, the awards he won, and the music reputation he accumulated have all become the scenery he has gained in his life and music journey. What kind of life adventures will we have on this train? The train is about to depart, are you ready to go to 1982 together?
