The 10th Annual Blues, Brews, and BBQ event will take place at Finley's Bar & Grill in Nelson on Saturday, April 6, 2024. This special edition of the event will showcase two bands, Flaming Aardvarks and Barbecue Brews Blues Band, with all proceeds benefiting Kootenay Co-op Radio and Kootenay Blues Society. The night will kick off with the talented Flaming Aardvarks, featuring Hal on Bass, David Kempster on Drums, and Mr. A on vocals and guitar, delivering a mix of original Aardvark tunes and classic blues hits. Later, Barbecue Brews Blues Band will take the stage, led by renowned Nelson blues vocalists Aryn Sherrif and Holly Hyatt, along with a lineup including Tom Thomson on Piano and Organ, Marty Carter on Sax, Flute, and Harmonica, Jon Burden on Guitar, Steve Wilson on Drums, and Holly on bass.
