Please note that availability is limited, so it's best to secure your spot early. The event will take place at the GT Bicycles Malverns Classic, located on the grass hill outside of the arena to the left of the steep tarmac road in Eastnor.
For flexibility, we offer a refund on race entry fees until 18:00 on the 31st of July 2024. To request a refund, please email si@malvernsclassic.com with the rider's name and category entered.
Please be aware that in order to enter the festival, a festival ticket must be purchased separately.
To ensure the safety of your bikes, we recommend bringing a bike lock and ensuring that your bike is locked up at all times when not in use. If storing your bike inside your vehicle, it's advisable to bring an old sheet and remove the wheels if necessary. Additional locks can be used for added security, even when your bike is inside your vehicle.
You do not need to be a British Cycling Member or hold a race license to enter the Adaptive Racing Dual Slalom event.
As with any sport, mountain biking carries inherent risks. It's crucial to ride within your skill level, exercise caution, and always be in control. Familiarize yourself with the course, its current conditions, and potential obstacles before riding. By participating in this event, you acknowledge and accept the risks involved, and the event organizers cannot be held liable for any accidents or injuries that may occur.
Please note that adaptive bikes are only allowed on the course when no other bicycle riders are present. Adaptive racers will practice and race together in a group, with 30-second intervals off the start line. A minimum of two runs is required, and participants can expect to have 2-3 practice runs.
Ensure that your bicycle is in good working condition and that safety measures are in place, including bar plugs and a full-face helmet that meets the required safety standards. POV cameras are allowed during practice, but not during the race. It is mandatory to complete at least two full runs of the course during practice.
