AFTLS is a troupe of five classically-trained British actors who travel college campuses in the US performing Shakespeare's works in an engaging and minimalist style. Co-founded by Sir Patrick Stewart in the 1970s, they were a fixture of campus life at UT from the 1990s through the start of the pandemic under the long-time residency directorship of Professor Alan Friedman. They now make their triumphant return. AFTLS is known for their distinctive minimalist style, in which only five actors take on all the roles in a full Shakespeare play.  Performances will take place at the Texas Spirit Theater at the Bullock State History Museum. POLICIES: If your plans change, we will do our best to accommodate all requests. Contact the English Department at shakespeare@austin.utexas.edu with order changes. We ask for at least a 48-hour notice to process cancellations or exchanges. Cancellations may be refunded and exchanges are subject to availability. Any requests for refunds received less than 48 hours before the start of a performance cannot be fulfilled. Please note that parties of 10 or more must pay for tickets at the time of reservation.

The second layer mainly introduces how Texas acquired independent identity and what major events have occurred in history; from the third layer, it can be seen how Texas adapts to the environment and uses the opportunity to develop medicine, science, etc. The Texas History Museum is a museum with a comprehensive understanding of Texas history and culture, and through a visit to its three-story exhibition hall, the history of Texas can be compiled into an interesting story to future generations.

As a regular tourist thought the process of entering the Parliament House was very cumbersome, but I didn&#39;t expect to check the bag I took with me to visit. Built in 1885, the building covers 51 acres and was designed by architects modeled on the Capitol in Washington, DC, and was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1970 and was named a National Historic Landmark in 1986. Amazing the passing of the world does not affect its appearance and internal structure, as always brand new, visitors can visit the government office, have time to visit around the building outside, from all angles to enjoy the century-old building.
