Hosted by Nottingham University Hospitals NHS at City Hospital in Nottingham, this training session offers attendees the opportunity to familiarize themselves with the features and functionalities of the Medstrom Solo, Aria, and Aria Pro beds. Join us for a leisurely women's bike ride, just under 6 miles taking advantage of Nottingham's Cycle Route (Mostly NCN 6) to Bestwood Country Park, starting and finishing at Bulwell Forest Recreation Ground. Meet us from 5.45pm ready to ride at 6pm in front of the Childrens Play Area at Bulwell Forest Recreation Ground see a google maps pin here. See picture below for route and here is a link to Komoot for the full file: We welcome women of all ages, abilities and backgrounds, we ride at the pace of the slowest rider, stop for breaks whenever you want and promise you will never be alone at the back! One of us will lead, and another will stay at the back so we stick together as a group. You'll be in safe hands, between us we're qualified ride leaders and professional mechanics who love cycling. Before and during the ride we will be sharing all the tips and tricks to get the most out of cycling. You won't need anything fancy, just a bike that rides and comfortable weather-appropriate clothing and some enthusiasm for cycling! This session is organised by Women in Tandem, a Community Interest Company based in Nottingham that aims to support and empower women to ride bikes. It is part of our Travel Well project in partnership with Nottingham City Council and funded by Active Travel England. All attendees will need to complete a registration survey for our funders.
